This bright and cheerful second-floor corner Golf Villa-style condo, with two bedrooms, loft and three bathrooms - at approximately 1,939 square feet - offers the utmost in convenience and is in a wonderful location overlooking one of the community's small ponds. Screened porch and open air deck too! Central air conditioning, well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer too. This condo is on-smoking. Guests can enjoy four TVs (one is 46-inches), two DVD players, Blu-ray, and WiFi.
The Village at Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. Just three miles to the beach, this exciting golf course community features a fantastic set of amenities, including The Village Pavilion (with indoor pool, outdoor pool, kiddie pool, exercise room, Har-Tru tennis courts, hard surface tennis court, multi-sport court and saunas for homeowners and guests), outdoor pool, playground, summer beach shuttle and clubhouse with restaurant.
Note: The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests that opt to purchase amenity passes MUST purchase at the Bear Trap Pavilion.
The pools are located at the community pavilion. (The pool located on October Glory is for owner use only.)
*Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking.
*Please note that the gas fireplace is not available for guest use.
A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

The property was clean, good location and was exactly as described in the listing. We did find that the internet was very slow to the point we could not use it to even manage our emails. I would recommend that the owners have someone clean the master bedroom carpet. It was rather stained. The biggest issue was that on our first and second day at the condo we had roofers starting at 9;00 am taking the roof off and then the next day replacing the roof. It would have been nice to know that was the situation for 2 of our 4 days. It was very loud and we had to leave the condo for both days due to the noise. This was a big miss and we should have been notified as this had been scheduled by HOA awhile ago the neighbor told us. Did not leave with a good feeling due to the missed communication.

I loved the layout and the space of this rental but the cleaning from Vacasa was insufficient and we questioned if it was done at all. I had to clean the toothpaste out of the sinks and the one bedroom trash was filled with waste products and we had trash laying on the floor in the Master and several pills were found in different places on the floor in the home. I have complained about this for every rental every year so this is not an owner issue.
On to the owner issues:
The furniture in the living room is very dirty. I could not sit in there. It smelled and felt horrible. The master bedroom bed is very comfortable but very high. I had to climb into it and slide out of it. The shower in the master is very tiny and has a huge shower head. You can not redirect the water and it just pummels against the same spot on the wall in the shower and water ends up all over the shower door (the door has a considerable amount of mold growing on it) and it is hard to get the water to rinse everywhere.
Even considering all this we would not rule out a return but I would want to see at least improvement to the living room furniture. The location and community is wonderful. The loft would be super cool if needed. We did not go up there but it seemed like a nice fort for kids for a week. The kitchen is not well stocked but it has a nice layout
