Best value for the money in Krems -- kind and helpful staff, easy checkin and breakfast is lovely. Nothing fancy, but if you are rolling though on a sports trip and just need a comfy bed near the Danube, it's top value

For me it's perfect - if you are vacationing and are looking for something atmospheric, new and special, that is not what a hostel is!

Excellent hostel, very clean rooms, nice location close to Krems centrum and the Passau-Vienna bicycle path. Very nice breakfast, comfortable bed, quiet place. I can recommend it!!

For about 15 minutes, I had some difficulty to check in, but that was my fault. The hostel was locked, and nobody was around, and at first I did not notice that I already got a message via the booking app, about a key locker. When I arrived, I met a French couple who wanted to spend the night here, but they did not have reservation. They complained that nobody is around, and nobody picks up the phone. The phone number written on the door, and the phone number on booking.com did not match (even different number of digits!) and none of those phone numbers worked (nobody answered), although it was already after 17h and the check-in starts at 17h. We were pretty disappointed and I thought they are lucky because they can go to any other place to stay, but I already paid for my room here, I just cannot get in, and cannot contact anyone. Fortunately, after some time I checked my booking app and saw the message; so then I got in and everything was fine. Bottomline is: always check your messages on booking app!

Quick and easy check-in combined with breakfast served with a smile made more a comfortable overnight stay. No frills or extras, just quality.

The lady was nice, she really did her best to solve the problem with the mold. the breakfast was good, the location is exceptional. I was glad I had the 6-bunk-bed-room all to myself.

The smell of mold in the bathroom coming out of the sink, made stronger by the exhaust and the moldy shower, and the fact that there was no air conditioning.
