Rose Cottage at Hyams Beach

The cottage is in a great location on the edge of the village and only a 2 minute walk down the street to the beach. There are lovely bush views from the large windows.

There needs to be a little more attention to detail regarding the kitchen equipment and furnishings. There is real appeal in its original beach house feel but better quality kitchen items, provision of bedding and better quality wardrobes and dining chairs would be a big improvement. A barbecue and outdoor seating area would improve things. Also, the property is advertised with wifi but it didn’t work at all. Staff weren’t helpful in resolving the issue. Information on the letting agency website about the wifi and no bed linen was not on the booking.com site and only available via email after we were unable toe to cancel.
