Beautiful accommodation.

The accommodation was lovely. Nice kitchen and very pretty decor. Bed was comfy.

The windows all had venetians which was to match the whole place but in the bedroom I feel a block out blind should be added as the light was extremely bright in the morning when we were trying to sleep.

A relaxing and tranquil weekend stay

This cottage is in a beautiful location. So peaceful and quiet, no noise disturbances at all. We were within a short walking distance to the restaurants/pubs in this immaculate village and a short driving distance from Carrick-on-Shannon.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like about our stay at the Garden Cottage.

Lovely peaceful relaxing stay in a fab house

Stayed in this beautiful little house in the centre of Dromod for the bank holiday weekend. House was exceptionally beautiful with fab furnishings throughout. Spotlessly clean and the bed was so so comfy with amazing pillows and duvet. Within walking distance of everything in Dromod - had a lovely meal from the Copper Still (take out but everything was given to us on real plates so it was like having a proper home cooked meal!). We were able to get everything we needed from the local store Hunt's and we were just around the corner from the lovely marina. Carrick on Shannon was within easy reach too where we went on the Moon River cruise which was really lovely. Lovely peaceful, chilled out stay and Maria was lovely to deal with :-)

Definitely go back there again.

Arigna mining experience is only 30 minutes away and the view from it's car-park is exceptional. Unfortunely it was closed because of covid but hoped to open on 5th July.

Nothing to dislike.
