About this apartment rental
Asteraki Beach House is a beautiful, modern and welcoming holiday apartment located in the heart of Acharavi, just steps away from beach, shops and restaurants. Air-conditioned, provided with a large pool and surrounded by lush gardens, this property is a true oasis of peace in an amazing location (a car is not required). Thanks to 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchenette, private balcony and shower room, Asteraki Beach House can easily sleep up to 4 guests offering excellent style and value for money.
Asteraki Beach House is set within a family-run building of just 3 units, all semi-detached and with independent entrance. Therefore the maximum peace, privacy and space are guaranteed. The property is located on one floor (ground) and comprises a well equipped kitchenette with dining area, 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin) overlooking the garden and opening straight to the private balconies, and a large family shower room. The property is air-conditioned (included in the rental price) and has been cheerfully, modernly finished to provide a superior holiday experience. A shared laundry area is available on the premises, at a small extra charge (euros 5 per washing, including soap, payable locally).
Outside, the property is surrounded by amazing manicured gardens with lawn, tall trees, chill-out areas and hammocks. It is a truly amazing place to relax after a long day on the beach or by the pool. A brick-built barbecue is also provided for delicious charcoal grilled meals. Guests have free access to the swimming pool located next to the garden, which also has a pool bar open during the summer months and features a children section, free sunbeds and shades. Please note that the swimming pool is not part of the complex, is independently run and our guests have free access to it. The pool opens from the first week of May until the last week of October. Private parking is available within the grounds.

Immaculate accommodation,changed and serviced twice in a 9 night stay ,very appreciative & love how there were clean bamboo mattress protectors in the beds and pillows ,changed and could be seen on the line drying .gorgeous crisp white linens and towels ,even saw the cleaner ironing pot towels !attention to detail . Well appointed ,AC ,WiFi ,lots of seating outside and private balcony ,great use of adjacent pool and bar ,entertainment while there,excellent . Lovely snack bar ,convenient,although just a short walk to beach bars ,restaurantsthe ones in the main stret ,totally walkable ,free parking Late check in due to delayed flight ,no problem,as self check in and out. Great sunsets on beach too What’s not to like ,couldn’t fault it

I had a great stay at this little villa. However, the first night we got there, it was dark and difficult to find the place since the address isn’t truly the address, and you have to follow instructions to find it. I think if we arrived during the day, it would have been easier to locate though. There was also issues with the electricity the night we arrived and didn’t have it the first night and it would go in and out the next day. They worked diligently to get it fixed and Maria was very helpful, which I appreciate.
Besides those issues, it was super beautiful and about 3 min walk to the beach. The flowers smelled so good which made the stay better. A bit humid, but so worth it. This beach was more rocky, but I would recommend renting a car to get around to the other, more beautiful beaches easier. Overall, the downsides didn’t affect our stay so I would 100% recommend. 🙂

Myself, husband and 6 + 9 year olds stayed at this place. It was comfortable and clean. There is a pool access about 15 m away, you just need to walk across the gate to the "neighbour". The hammock (as on the photo) isn't there anymore and the kids were disappointed. Obviously, this isn't a deal breaker!! There was aTV in one room with greek channels. Windows and balcony entrance has a moskito net and window shutters. We didn't need to use the AC.
Pebbly beach starts off steep-ish but once in the water at ankle level, the steep sloping evens out and only advances slowly. There are many bars and pools along the beach. You can use the pools and sun loungers if you buy a drink or coffee or lunch.
Make sure you bring some anti mosquito device and lotion as you'll get bitten in the evenings. There was an amazing spectacle of fire-flies in the grassy gardens, in the evenings after sun sets (end of May).
