Affordable weekend or mid week getaway that exceeded expectations.

Excellent location to shops and restaurants and the beach, the hosts were fantastic. Felt very homey and the pool is beautiful between the two buildings like a little paradise. The cats are everywhere in the town and very friendly and taken care of by many people.

Wifi was non existant inside until you wen out on the little side balcony. Bed was too stiff for my liking. Transport is diffult to get back to airport if you have an early flight and taxis are very expensive.

Excellent stay at Villa Tasos !!! Villa Tasos is a great place to stay for a vacation - quiet big rooms and fully equipped by greek standards, beautifully decorated swimmigpool area and tropical surrounding. The stuff is always nice and very helpfull. Close (just 2 min walk) to a beautiful sandy beach which s equipped with sunbeds & umbrellas, beach bars, restaurants and coffee shops. During the summer also pedalo boats and a watersports. Villa Tasos is also near the centre (2 min walk) which has many supermarkets, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops, tourist shops (bicycle, quad and car rental, excursions, etc...), pharmacy, and it is generally very well developed for tourist infrastructure - tourist will find here whatever they need during their vacation. Ideal for tourists who like to spend their stay in a small greek resort which has everything of a tourist infrastructure to offer during the day as same as a really authentic greek night life ... :) I fully reccommend Villa Tasos !!! Can not wait to be back. :)

Location is within walking distance to beach and restaurants on the main street. Parking on property (free) is convenient.

Pool is very cool as it doesn’t appear to be heated. Room amenities are in need of repair or replacement. Beds are “ok”.

A perfect location, a warm and welcoming villa.

Welcome to Villa Tasos! Collection of the keys was very easy. The villa, in theory, was self check-in and our room was clearly signposted at the entrance and from the pool area, ensuring that we'd find our way regardless of which entrance we used. As it happened, the hosts were at the pool area, and greeted us warmly. It was a great welcome. The villa as a whole really does look stunning, especially at night, with the lights from the pool playing over the palm and banana trees that surround the courtyard. It is also in the perfect location, being roughly three-minutes' walk from town and five-minutes' walk from the gorgeous Acharavi beach. Having spent seven-days travelling about the island, it really is one of the most authentic locations in Corfu, and Villa Tasos is the perfect base from which to explore. The room itself was a good size. I don't know if ours was indicative of the whole (it seemed to be), but it offered a kitchen / dining room, bathroom, bedroom, and two balconies - both of which were big enough to seat two people. The apartment was pretty bare bones in terms of content, but there was pretty much everything that you needed - basic kitchenware including cutlery, dishes, fridge, and kettle; towels and bedding; and a mix of seats and sun loungers. We spent plenty of time happily in the apartment and we also enjoyed time by the pool. The pool itself is large enough to take a refreshing dip or have a swim, and it's surrounded by sun loungers. Sadly, the villa no longer has a bar, but the bar area remains, with tables and atmospheric lighting all present and correct, and we enjoyed having a few drinks with the hosts and various other guests over the course of our stay. It's a nice place to hang out, both day and night, whether you want to sunbathe, read a book, or have a chat with the more sociable residents. On the whole, we absolutely loved our stay at Villa Tasos and would return without hesitation.

I'd like to caveat this by pointing out that the villa is exceptional value. However, as has been noted elsewhere on these pages, certain elements of the rooms are getting a little tired and could do with updating. Our apartment was kept very clean by the staff who dropped in twice during our seven-day stay, replacing towels and replenishing toilet paper. However, some of the furniture is pretty battered, and the shower requires patience if you want to avoid the drain trap from simply overflowing. None of these things are deal breakers but, for those looking for sparkling, brand-new furniture, then look elsewhere, but also expect to pay considerably more. The other thing that travellers should bear in mind (and this isn't in any way a complaint, but simply an observation for future guests) is that you do need to provide for yourself. The Villa is very open about this in their literature, but beyond soap, toilet paper, and some dish washing liquid, there is nothing else in the apartment. There are, however, a number of well-priced supermarkets just a few minutes' walk away, and we had everything we needed within an hour of arrival.

A good location to get around in Corfu with a wonderful host

The property had a beautiful pool area. Mr Tasos and his daughters were kind, understanding and communicative. The front of the building looked wonderful and inviting. The room had a balcony and all the basic necessities and there was a lovely double bed with Corfu written above it and the bed linen and towels were crisp and clean. The location was very good as it had all the facilities, (i.e. grocery store) tour operators and bus stops nearby.

The room could do with some tlc, a fresh repaint and deeper cleaning for the rest of the apartment would bring it up to date nicely.

Beautiful pool in the middle of the apartment complex, nice garden plants. Very fast and intuitive self check in.

The most uncomfortable bed of my life, severe insufficient darkening of the room, very small bathroom, uncomfortable shower, bedside table on one side only, light from lamps too strong, uncomfortable and dirty kitchen, water leak from the sink, electric light that comes and goes, very uncomfortable tv position, mold on the walls.

Fantastic family owned villa, great location, beautiful vibes

I absolutely loved the atmosphere. The villa is stunning and feels authentic, if a little dated, but that added to the charm! The people, (special shout-out to Maho and Roula) were amazingly friendly and really did everything to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. Also, the price point for the beauty of the old charm property I think is second to none (only the best). I would 100% come back here again, to see everyone again but also to stay in this charming villa. The pool is a great spot to chill during the day, it has direct sun for most of the day up until 5pm (in April) when we stayed, and is surrounded by natural plants which makes it a beautiful spot to chill in. It's located 5 mins walk from the beach with great restaurants and bars if you walk to the left when you reach the beach (special mention Sea Salt restaurant with amazing quality seafood) and beautiful sandy beaches if you turn right. It is also a 3 min walk to the high street with a well stocked supermarket, coffee shops, and bars. The most important thing to me was that the bed and the bathroom was clean, as that is all I need from a room. The kitchen is basically equipped however anything I needed was given immediately upon asking. I was very happy staying here and hopefully will return very soon!!!

I don't like the low reviews that they have received as I think they are unwarranted. I booked this property first before checking the reviews, after reading them I was a little worried. However after staying I can definitely recommend villa Tasos as it has definitely exceeded my expectations.

Location more than perfect - nearby sandy beach (just 2 min walk) and also nearby the resort centre with supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, bus stop and tourists shops ! The hosts were really nice and helpful! The apartment was clean, and close to supermarkets and restaurant. The beach is beautiful and there are also a lot of really nice bars!

Very nice location. The apartments have it all. You can use a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by the apartments (very familiar). The Acharavi bus stop is 200 meters away, and the sea is 500 meters away. You can find restaurants, cocktail bars, rent a car and supermarkets just a few meters from Villa Tasos. Advised. 10+

this was amazing, the best place u can be in acharavi. the host was absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much too ask for him. Location is just excellent, close to the beatch and close to the supermarket. 2-3 min each way.

Great value and experience.

The guest service and care about my experience was outstanding. Bella and Maho showed interest and gave great advice and problem solving. Poolside was a treat surrounded by beautiful flowers and fragrance. Location is amazing. Very close to the beach where you can hire lounge and brolly for a luxury experience. Close to the main street for public bus, cafes, restaurants and shops. Brilliant. Best value for money I have had.

Great value in quiet and green area

The appartement was very comfy and complete! Contrary to most Greek budget accomodations the kitchen came with soap and a sponge, two tyoes of coffepots, a dishcloth and there were many plates, cups and utensils. The family who runs it is very friendly. very comfy double bed!!

I understood it was close to the beach but this is only the case if you have sturdy walking shoes to descend a rocky and overgrown path. Or if you go the bar behind the location and have drinks there and use their stairs.

Wonderful Stay!

We loved Villa Tasos!! Not only is the price incredible but it is in a great location. The owners are so kind and welcoming and gave us great local recommendations. The town of Acharavi is so fun to walk around and you are only a 2 minute walk to the beach. We would highly recommend Villa Tasos to anyone!

The wifi isn’t very fast but we didn’t mind because it is nice to unplug on holiday.

Very nice, clean pool and around it, fluffy kittens, staffs are very kindly.

Poor facilities, no microwave , only one pan with no lid, only 3 forks, toaster is not working, only 2 singles duvets to 4 people, toilet seat loosing, shower very weak just dropping coming out. It Needs urgently refurbishment.

Thanks to the amazing host and his son Bella! They helped me so much during my journey, so funny and kind to me. I recommend this very quiet and well stocked place, i really enjoyed the garden with the pool, beautiful atmosphere also to drink a beer before dinner. My room was very big and super cute. Also they have satisfied every request i had. The prices are the best and you can reach corfù town with the bus. there are a lot of restaurant and supermarket near the villa. Also there is a lovely place where you can have breakfast still in you pijamas, it's called "see you cafè". It was a pleasure to meet Tasos and Bella and I am grateful for their presence during my trip! 🙏🏼❤️

A wonderful, affordable and comfortable stay.

The location could not be more perfect. You are situated a 2 minute walk to the beach and main road. Close to the bus if needed. Grocery store at the end of the street. Plentiful bars and restaurants and a very nice pool. Hosts are lovely and helpful and the room I had was spacious and very clean. I would absolutely stay there again.

Superb

The owner of villa is extra funny and nice guy and has a sweet staff. The apartment was really big and clear with the balcony(!), kitchen is equipped just right as we read that there is not enought utensils in the kitchen. As I write this me and my gf slept 5 nights of 6 at main bedroom having pretty damn good sleep, there is even second one with another balcony, but we never went there. Last is shower, cant say much about its just great. Overall price-quality pure perfection, beach 3 mins walking and big shop around corner.
