The cosy and well-furnished apartment “Familienwohnung” is part of the “Schildhof Ebion” and is situated in a quiet rural area in the Passeier Valley (Val Passiria) near Merano (Meran). Therefore, it is ideal for relaxing family holidays in the beautiful scenery of South Tyrol. The Schildhof "Ebion" is one of eleven farms in the Passeier Valley (Val Passiria), whose origins date back to a document from 1317, in which they were granted tax exemption for life in return for armed military service. They were also granted hunting and fishing rights for their own use to this day. The 110 m² apartment consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 3 bedrooms (one with 2 single beds and a bunk bed for 2 people) as well as one bathroom and an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 8 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a fireplace, satellite television, a baby cot, a children’s bed and a highchair (all 3 on request). The outdoor area comprises a balcony,a private open terrace with seating furniture and nice mountain views, as well as a shared garden for you to have breakfast, relax or spend the evenings with tasty dinners from the barbecue. There is also a trampoline for children. The farm is a good starting point for hikes or cycling tours of various levels of difficulty and many other sporting activities and cultural experiences. Experience the natural paradise with its authentic farms, its warm and open people and the unspoilt alpine landscape. The closest supermarket is 2.9 km or a 6-minute drive away, a bakery can be found after a 7-minute drive (3.6 km), and a pharmacy is a 12-minute drive (7.6 km) from the farm. A cable car, which takes you to the tops of the high alpine Hirzer area with fantastic views over the valley is 7.3 km (an 11-minute drive) away, and the Meran 2000 skiing area is 19 km or a 28-minute drive away. You can also play golf at Golfclub Passeier, 4.8 km or a 9-minute drive away. The city of Merano (Meran), well-known for its spa resorts and architectural beauty, is located a 24-minute drive (16.5 km) from the farm and also invites you to go shopping or explore the many great restaurants serving local cuisine. South Tyrol’s capital Bolzano (Bozen) lies 48 km (a 55-minute drive) southeast of the apartment.
