We enjoyed our stay would recommend to others.

We enjoyed staying in a furnished apartment with full kitchen and washer/dryer in the city. The location is excellent. We can walk to many restaurants and interesting places. Busses and Uber/Lyft is available also. The historic building was super clean and well maintained. All of the staff that we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. Communication with Abode was excellent.

Great place in downtown Pittsburgh

The location is great. The amenities in the apartment were fine also. We liked that we could open the bedroom window and adjust the heat (we like a colder sleeping environment). For a couple interested in staying in downtown Pittsburgh with the option of staying in and cooking some meals, it's a great choice.

In general it was fine; however, the tables and counter stools could have been dusted.

Good location to stay in Pittsburgh and enjoyed the property.would stay there again

We like the location. The 1 bedroom apartment was a good space for two people and loved having the kitchen when we didn’t want to eat out.

That there was not a ceiling fan in the bedroom and would have been great to have a king size bed. The handle on the microwave was broken which I alerted the property but no one came by to fix it. Also the bathtub drained very slow and water built up when taking a shower.

A few small adjustments and I would consider staying again

Great location, plenty of space and great front desk staff

HVAC system was broke and had a heavy moldy smell, slightly interrupted by staff trying to fix it 3rd day of stay which they couldn’t fix in our time frame. Couple broken things and a lot of lights with no shades. Parking was a problem and windows were filthy so waste of a good view.

I loved the historic character of the building, yet the apartment was spacious with modern kitchen and furniture. Comfortable bed and furniture. I like the location, being downtown walking distance to restaurants, museums, etc. It was quite, even though the location was next to a train station and a freeway. The price was excellent considering the location, size and comfort of the place. I would recommend this apartment!

The big windows dirty. However, I understand that these would be difficult to keep clean due to the location of the building.

So many other great places to stay in Pittsburgh.

This is not a hotel. It is such a poorly managed airbnb that I am surprised it is even possible for them to be on Booking. I got no info about checkin until 10min arriving at the property and then learned that I need to share all my personal info with them. They did not reach out to me through Bookings, only through unknown direct text messages and I was extremely worried that this was a scam. In addition, they had sent me 5 other text messages that was meant for other people. They forced me to send pics of credit card and ID, even though it was already paid for. It took an hour of frustration to get the info on how to get to the apartment.

The internet/cable was not working. I told them at my arrival about this issue. I stayed for 4 days and they didn't bother to fix it. Terrible management.

Historic Hotel in great location, but very difficult to get through REGISTRATION!

Facilities were very good, location was great near waterfront and Convention Center, Easy Parking next door.

REGISTRATION was VERY TROUBLESOME!!! Everything must be done by email through the Managing agency. Ive traveled the world, and NEVER had this level of scrutiny required by any hotel or airbnb.

Great place. Great location

The stay was great. The place was clean and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. The location was perfect. It was walking distance to PNC Park (30 mins) and PPG Paints Arena (12 mins). Parking was plentiful (you do have to pay but it wasn't bad) and it was literally below the building. I would highly recommend as it was everything we hoped it would be.

A very nice stay at Pgh landmark

The stay was really nice. The Pennsylvanian is a history landmark and therefore the building is older, but tha apt was nicely renovated. The bathroom could use some updating but all in all, it had everything you need for a business trip or leisure trip. Parking was pay for time on location or across the street at 2 large garages. Weekend prices were pretty good. Other than the front desk person, there was no staff to help you around but I didn't need any. The management company was very responsive via booking chat and gave you all the instructions you needed. Checking in and out was a breeze. I would stay there again.

The building is beautiful and it’s very centrally located. While parking was difficult, we made it work. Many things were very short drives away.

The second floor is not well-maintained, multiple staff have entry access to the apartment, and one side of the stay is very noisy. In addition, the central heating is sporadic.

Abode Pittsburgh is nothing short of historic, romantic, and comfortable.

Our stay was wonderful-apartment was clean, bright, and comfortable. The staff greeted us each time we passed the front desk and we noticed everyone was kind and attentive when speaking on the phone or through messages. We will absolutely stay here again.

I will NEVER stay in an ABODE property again.

Location proximity to Convention Center. Ladder was provided to reach upper kitchen shelves Rain shower in tub. The Pennsylvian front desk host was available 24/7; however, they could not help with Abode issues,

MISSING: KEY FOB,1 table knife, 1 dinner plate, Kitchen sink stopper or dish pan, Grab Bars around tub BROKEN: Hall lights wouldn't light, Bathroom sink stopper got stuck in stopped down position, USB charger by bed, White noise maker by bed, Shower Gel & Shampoo Dispensers empty, right-most Window Shade stuck in down position OTHER: $$ was too high ... even the Westin was less expensive. NO Abode representative on site. Fridge door only opened 12 inches.

Calling it horrible is a gross understatement.

The building itself was a beautiful, historic masterpiece that was converted into an apartment complex

Almost everything was horrible, including accommodation, price, treatment, lack of face-to-face interaction with customer service, pest control, lack of beds, and inability to reach out to customer service at all. The building tenants have frequently told us that Abode does not communicate with them, making coordination with the host even more difficult.

The decline we saw in the care of the similar unit that we stayed in this time was hearbreaking.

We arrived close to check in time so someone was available at the front desk of the facility to let us go up to our room and enter with the code to get the fob.

I don't like the fact that if no one is available at the front to buzz you in then it would be impossible to get into the building.

Trouble enjoying the beautiful room because of wrong information via email and hidden fees.

Customer service helped me get the correct name of the hotel and correct passcode to get into the room. My booking location was supposed to be called “The Pennsylvanian” on my email but it wasn’t so I had a hard time finding it when the address took me to the Amtrak parking downstairs (and not the main entrance). Customer service helped.

The email and the information inside was incorrect. -the handbook link doesn’t work -the apartment door code was incorrect (customer service had to correct) -the name of the apartment/hotel should always be included in emails for future use. Confusing when trying to find the place. -didn’t like that the Abode rules were hidden until after paying for a night -hated that there was a hidden $250 security deposit. This should be mentioned at the beginning before paying for a night. Nobody likes bad surprises. I would have been fine with some of this issues if they were transparent (mainly the last two points about hidden information).

HELL

The process of booking this overnight stay was among the worst experiences I have ever had as a consumer. It was excessively complicated and unwieldy for a one night stay. There was no help from either Abode or Booking.com. to resolve the issues that they were requesting. When the information was provided, they still said it had not been received. Despite charging my credit card several times, they insisted the card was invalid and I needed to respond immediately. Calling Abode several times, I would sit on hold for 6 to 10 minutes only for the call to be dropped. There were a combined 29 emails sent by Abode and Booking.com, many of which contradicted each other as to what was needed. I will never stay at Abode again. I will never use Booking.com again. I will be the worst advertisement either company ever had for their services.
