Simple layout, cleanliness, quality of the bedding and towels, kitchen equipment, utensiles etc, pantry items to assist with meal preparation, especially as there is no shop at Grasstree beach, BBq and outdoor dining in front, location right on the beach front, sound of curlews and waves breaking on the shore overnight. Great place to spend time and relax. Convenient drive south of Mackay and close enough to Sarina and Sarina Beach for shopping/dining out.

Fantastic, lovely quiet spot on the shore front. Beautiful accommodation. When I told the owner I was apprehensive it was called a shack, he said then you won't be disappointed. Wow the place was immaculate, so clean and tidy, quiet just over the road from the beach. The sunset and sunrise were amazing, worth getting up for even when it was a tad cloudy the sunrise was beautiful. Really sad we had to leave, as the stay was exceptional. Cannot fault it whatsoever. Lovely fluffy towels, wonderful decking space. Well thought out 10/10

Lovely peaceful location across from a beautiful little beach. Very well equipped "shack" with everything you could need. Nicely renovated. Comfortable bed and lounge. Very clean. Very friendly, helpful host. Great for short or long stay.
