Modern Living. It is a great place to rent out.

The apartment was extremely comfortable. Well equipped and very clean It lived up to its title with it being beautifully furnished. There were homemade cookies and bottles of water as a welcome gesture, a super touch We were welcomed by the owners with a message. We found the apartment in a great situation for travelling around. Would thoroughly recommend it to family and friends.

One of the most coziest apartments I have ever been to! Beautifully furnished and decorated, clean, and comfortable. Spacious bathroom, big bedroom and I just loved the terrace.

Not a complain - just a recommendation! It’s an old building, the apartment is on the last floor (4th if I am correct), and if you have a large suitcase will be challenging to drag it up there because there is no elevator. Staircase is narrow.

A clean, spacious apartment with nearby amenities, and access to local attractions.

We loved this apartment — it was immaculate and spacious, located on a quiet street. After five days of travel, having a washer was a welcome convenience. Although it was a bit farther from Basel than we expected, the nearby Three Countries Bridge was a highlight. We also appreciated the short walk to the mall, where we found a market to pick up groceries. The beer gardens on the German side were another favorite, offering great views of the Rhine River and a relaxing afternoon.

Fantastic, large apartment with heaps of space (plus laundry!) and in a great location.

Nothing, really. Everything was very good. Note that there are a number of sets of stairs, so I would not recommend this apartment for folks with mobility issues... there is no lift!

Suitable for a short stay

It is in a good location, easy to reach Basel. Quiet apartment.

There is no closet, shelf, or hanger, so you have to get dressed from the floor, from a suitcase. No stable hot water. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. Bicycle use is only possible for an additional fee.

Hello everyone. I strongly advise the Modern Living apartment. We stayed there on the last week of January. It was really hot inside and Mrs Emel had thought everything for our comfort. You can find there what you need such as microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, hair-dryer, coffee machine and etc. We have two daughters and they didn’t get bored in the evenings, as they can watch movies on Netflix. Moreover, Mrs Emel left some toys and puzzles for the younger one. She also helped us about how to travel to the districts around. The apartment was so clean and the location was perfect. If you would like to visit Basel, Weil am Rhein, Mulhouse, Saint Louis, you had better stay at Modern Living. It would be cheaper and it was very very close to the Dreilanderbrücke which connects France and Germany. You can visit Basel, Switzerland by using the tram with number 8 (but be careful about it because there are so many trams with number 8😜). I would like to thank Mrs Emel for her hospitality and hope to come again in summer.

It included all modern ameniries/comforts in the center of a simple quiet town midst a bakery and restaurants. Walkable to 3 countries bridge and tram into Basel. A most congenial host. An especially fun place to stay.

Must be able to climb multiple sets of stairs. Apartment on top floor of a 4 story building. Equipment instruction wouldd be helpful. Also hair dryer.

Great clean apartment with very friendly

The location is perfect! 5 minutes walk to the bridge of 3 countries, 1 minute walk to a very nice bakery, 1 minute walk to a convenience store, 2 minutes to the restaurant, 10 minutes to a big supermarket. just everything you possibly need close to the apartment. The apartment was just perfect! Clean and tidy, the first word I've got from my wife when we entered was - WOW! lovely balcony, nice furniture, fully equipped kitchen, nice and clean bathroom, TV, wifi - everything you need! The hosts are super nice! They care about you, ask if everything is ok, if you have any questions, always reply in just minutes to any question. Even ordered us a taxi! this is definitely really really good! strongly recommend!

Trying to think of anything that I didnt like, and can not come up with anything... Everything was perfect! maybe just one small thing that we missed - it would be even better to have a frying pan :)

Nice flat with a terrace and close to a river

The owner was really kind and responsible. She really cared of us and asked our stay during our stay. Also we wanted to stay longer that check out time. She tried as much as she can. There were some teas and chocolates and a decorated table so we felt welcome feeling. The terrace was really nice and we enjoyed having breakfast, computer work and drinking there with sounds of a bell from a church. Everything was clean and well organized. Key was just one but one could open from the flat so it was ok. There was a key box so we could check in anytime. The location is right next to a square and close to a bridge so it was nice to walk around. The neighbor was nice atmosphere. We liked there more than saint louis.

There can be more kitchen equipments.

Modern Living for young People is funny

Der Name der Unterkunft beschreibt das Ambiente sehr gut. Ganz toll fanden wir die überdachte und sehr großzügige Terrasse. Die notwendige Klimaanlage war sehr gut zu steuern und super leise.

Im Angebot hätte vermerkt werden können, dass die Unterkunft im 3.Stock liegt und über keinen Fahrstuhl verfügt. Menschen mit körperlicher Einschränkung oder betagte Menschen haben hier keine Chance die Wohnung ohne Hilfe oder Mühsal zu erreichen.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été impressionnés par la propreté impeccable, la décoration soignée et l’ambiance chaleureuse du lieu. L’appartement est non seulement très beau et confortable, mais il est aussi parfaitement équipé avec tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin, ce qui nous a permis de nous sentir comme chez nous dès le premier instant. L’emplacement est idéal : calme et agréable, tout en étant proche de tout ce qui est nécessaire pour profiter pleinement du séjour. Un mot spécial pour le propriétaire : une personne exceptionnelle, extrêmement sympathique, attentionnée et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions ou nous donner des conseils utiles. Il nous a beaucoup aidés et a fait preuve d’une grande compréhension et d’une véritable hospitalité. Grâce à lui, notre séjour a été encore plus agréable et sans stress. Nous recommandons ce logement à 100 %, aussi bien pour les courts que pour les longs séjours. Die Raumaufteilung und der große Balkon. Die großen Fenster im Wohnzimmer und im Schlafzimmer über dem Bett sind fantastisch. In unserem Zeitraum hat es Gewittert in der Nacht was unglaublich toll aussah. Es gibt auch Rollladen falls man angst vor Gewitter hat.

J'ai bien aimé la taille de l'appartement, la taille du lit, les équipements en général et aussi les petites attentions: chocolats, café, thé Il y a une très grande terrasse mais j'en ai pas profité à cause de la météo La proximité d'une très bonne boulangerie et d'un parking public est aussi appréciable C'était très bien !
