About this house rental
Foresteria Conti has recently been restored and renovated. It is located in the heart of Padova (Padua), next to the antique Casa Conti and San Luca Church. Bartolomeo Cristofori, known as the inventor of the piano, was baptized in this church. The same church is also mentioned in William Shakeaspeare The Taming of the Shrew: Bianca and Lucentio’s wedding takes place here.
The big living room overlooks the garden from one side, and from the other it includes a bell tower dating back to the 14th century. The furnishings of the house take inspiration from art, travel and tango. Your hosts will be pleased to let you visit the old Casa Conti, where you can see valuable works of art. A unique experience for our guests. You can also join Argentinian tango events and public or private tango lessons.
The apartment consists of a hall, a double bed bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a double bedroom (with double bed ot twin beds), a second bathroom, a big living with a sofa bed for two people, and a fully equipped kitchen. Perfect air conditioning is provided by low ecological impact thermal insulation.
The house is inside the medieval city walls, Padua’s oldest one. All historical or artistic landmarks are at a walking distance: the pedestrian area along Roma St, the three famous squares with Palazzo delle Ragione, Caffè Pedrocchi, the old University, St. Anthony’s Basilica, Prato della Valle and Cappella degli Scrovegni.

An amazing apartment. Absolutely beautiful, with everything we needed. The tram was under construction but Giorgio gave us directions to the bus. Our train had been delayed so we were very late and Giorgio was kind enough to meet us on the street to guide us through the last bit. Lots of space for our teenage daughters and us. Lots of great places to eat close by with super friendly service.Highly recommend this place and wonderful host. Wish we had more time. We'll absolutely be back.

We immediately loved the apt for its size, cleanliness & with everything we need for a comfortable stay. The host, Giorgio, was extremely accommodating & informative. I would highly recommend you consider this apartment if planning a trip to Padova.

We had a fantastic stay at the Conti house. Fab location, welcoming and helpful host, clean and modern apartment with 2 lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. The 14th century wall, lit and covered in class provides a authentic and historic backdrop in the main living area. Very useful parking for one car next to the apartment in the pedestrianised zone. Short walking distance to restaurants, piazzas, frescos and more. It really is a gem. We will return. Thank you Giorgio.

The apartment was beautiful, clean, comfortable and full of historical significance. It is perfectly located within walking distance of significant sites. Yasser was very polite and helpful. Georgio was very charming and friendly. He graciously shared the history of his home with us, giving us a yery special memory of our time in Padua.
