Merten's place is great! They are the friendliest staff and they offered me early check-in and coffee. Always with a smile -- super sweet uncles managing the place. The place has really interesting decor and it is a comfortable stay, would highly recommend :) It is also near the train station and essentials like DM and Rewe so everything is convenient.

The check-in was smooth, the host friendly and accommodating. The property itself was charming, we were quite happy with the interior and comfort of our room. The bathroom, despite being shared, was impeccably clean. An iron was provided on request ;-) Easy S- and U-Bahn access.
No shampoo / shower gel provided. Mattress too soft.

Nice location - close to U- and S-bane - between airport and downtown. Cozy and comfortable room. Possibility for later check-in. Good value for money. Very friendly staff - It was possible easily to adjust our stay at the property.
Someone was smoking outside the building.
There was reconstruction work at neighbouring house, but it was only during working hours while we were visiting city :)
