Attic Sea Whatch in Castelsardo fully conditioned for 6 people

Great situation, small beach (crowded in summer) directly down the street, but early morning bathing is perfect, even a free shower, (1E for the “bigger “ beach on the left). For the price, ad not clear, PRICE is for 4 even if house for 6, extra to be paid just a small sentence in English 40 E per day . Otherwise milk, water in fridge, enough extra food from previous persons, a lot of kitchen ware like at home. Domenica the responsable on site responds quickly. Small food market down the street. Good vacation

The apartment was lovely with a balcony overlooking the sea with beautiful sunsets. It’s at the top of a steep hill so quite a challenge in the heat but less than a 10 minute walk down to the beach - longer on the way back! Lots of really nice beaches to choose from and if you have a car it’s worth doing a bit of exploring further afield. Lu Bagnu is. very Italian with plenty of authentic Italian restaurants many of which are reasonably priced. It’s a 10 minute drive to Casselsardo which is a bit more lively and has several Gelateria which are worth a visit! The walk up to the castle is challenging but well worth the effort and we found some lovely restaurants within the “village”. The area is clearly favoured by Italians as a holiday resort and we found more people able to understand our GCSE French and Spanish than English. We made good use of Google translate! Our only complaint would be the check in. Our flight landed at 9pm and the host, Maria, said we wouldn’t arrive in Lu Bagnu before 11.30pm and that Domenica would be there to meet us. We were unable to contact Domenica on the number given (probably a problem with our mobile providers) but arrived at midnight having taken an hour at passport control, an hour to pick up the hire car and an hour’s drive. We went to the address given which turned out to be an office which was obviously closed at that time and we started to think we’d been scammed and would be spending the night in the car. We eventually got hold of Maria who called Domenica on our behalf who had gone home as we were so late ( turns out she’d been told we were arriving at the apartment at 9pm). Eventually a friend of hers appeared and took us to the apartment which was several roads away and in the middle of a complex that we couldn’t drive to though it was only a short walk from the road . It all turned out fine but a very stressful start to the holiday. When Domenica eventually showed she was really helpful and was able to advise on restaurants and activities. It would have been nice if the apartment could have been cleaned half way through our 2 week stay given what we were charged for cleaning, but overall we had a really lovely holiday.

We really enjoyed staying in this property which had really good amenities. The view from the balcony is amazing and we enjoyed eating out there. The kitchen is well stocked and the apartment was very clean. Any requests were dealt with well. It was in good walking distance from the beach, bars and shops - although up a steep hill which kept us fit. Thank you for having us to stay.

Das Apartment ist gepflegt und sauber, alle notwendigen Gegenstände vorhanden, Küche mit viel Geschirr ausgestattet. Ein Schlafzimmer mit direktem Blick aufs Meer, eine große Terrasse für entspanntes Frühstück. Stand, Supermärkte und Restaurants in Lu Bagnu zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Kommunikation mit Vermieter und lokaler Vertretung problemlos, Check in und Check out ebenfalls (obwohl wir wegen Flugerspätung erst um 0:30 eingetroffen sind). Kleiner Nachteil: einen sicheren Fußweg ins 2 km entfernte Castelsardo gibt es nicht.
