About this house rental
The house underwent a radical renovation completed in 2023. I renovated it as if it were for me. Everything is new, the bathroom characterized by a beautiful 80x100 shower with quality crystal box and thermostatic column, the spacious panoramic room with large chandelier and large windows overlooking the sea, the double bedroom with the inlaid headboard. All the windows are new and perfectly sealed, the wood-effect floors characterize and give light. New fitted kitchen with fan oven, new induction hob and dishwasher. Summer and winter air conditioning.
The house is located in a truly unique position, overlooking the entire Gulf of Asinara surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and countryside. From the house you can see the nearby new olive grove and the old centuries-old one, where I produce an excellent organic oil, you can experience the magic of nature, the tranquility despite being only 1000 meters from the town and 1700 meters from the square.
Castelsardo is a medieval town, with a beautiful historic center, located in a strategic position compared to the other most beautiful destinations in Northern Sardinia. It is about 32 km from Porto Torres airport.
In Castelsardo there is also a well-equipped tourist port from which excursions to Asinara depart and where you can rent dinghies or boats even with a skipper.
Its crystal clear sea with breathtaking colors is the ideal place for spear fishing and diving, there are several diving centers that offer visits to real pearls. Worth noting is the excellent surf school on the nearby Lu Bagnu beach.
Castelsardo is also famous for the goodness of the fish caught every day by a large fleet of small fishing boats. The particular taste of the red mullet and lobster caught in the Gulf of Asinara is famous

This property is a hidden gem. Suited us perfectly, wonderful views of Castelsardo. Quiet location and very easy to get to many beautiful beaches. Fantastic communication with the owner who recommended us a lot of amazing places. We will have to come back.

House is about 5min by car from city center and on a hill (steep road), slightly higher than Castelsardo castle so that you have an outstanding view to the castle, the sea (and the sundown in the the evening) that you can enjoy on the huge terrasse. We found everything we needed for cooking etc. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

A big private house with a lot of land around so no problem if you have a dog. The property is rustic and comfortable for a family holiday. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys nature and the sea views!

The house corresponds precisely with the information given in the advertisement and exceeded our expectations by far regarding its location, size and atmosphere. The view from the huge terrace is fantastic, one is completely undisturbed and by itself and yet one reaches the village Castelsardo within 5 minutes (by car) with lots of restaurants, bars, shops, a market (every friday), a very small beach and a gorgeous old town to discover. The house is spacious and sufficiently equipped. The contact with the owner Gianmario Marras was already in the booking-process easy, fast and reliable. He received us very friendly, gave us a detailed explanation of everything and many useful suggestions. During our stay he was reachable for further questions all the time. We stayed 2,5 weeks in the house and enjoyed every day. We also recommend the restaurant „Bounty“ with its delicious and honest Sardinian cuisine. If you are looking for something more refined, we absolutely suggest to visit the restaurant „Il cormorano“ (Via Cristoforo Colombo 7), its gerat! We highly recommend the house and would love to return.
