Uniquely beautiful Chelsea home with stunning roof terrace
LIVING & EATING
The top floor of this stunning homes bathes in light from both sides - with a small balcony which peeks through to the Thames and Battersea bridge and a rooftop terrace on the other (see Access notes below). This room comprises a stunningly decorated sitting room, styled according to its contemporary art dealer owner’s style, and a dining table. The whole house is furnished with desirable William Yeoward fabrics, and the furniture is impeccable brands including Glo Ponti, Austrian Deco and Fornasetti. Down a short flight of stairs is the kitchen.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
The home has three bedrooms - a master with UK super king (6ft wide) bed, made with only Natural and sustainable material, and en suite bathroom (with shower over bath), a second bedroom with pull out twin beds and a third single room. These rooms share a family shower room.
ACCESS & LAYOUT
The home is set over four floors with the entrance hallway at the street/entrance level, stairs to the first floor (bedrooms), and the second and third floors (kitchen and sitting room). The private roof terrace is accessed from the sitting room via some steps.
ON YOUR DOORSTEP
Lots Road is a quiet corner of Chelsea tucked off the Chelsea Embankment. Beloved of antique dealers and design fanatics (the Chelsea Design Studio is within close walking distance), it’s a wonderful area also served by some excellent pubs (the Lots Road Dining Room and the Chelsea Ram). Imperial Wharf station is within easy walking distance. A few minutes’ walk north will bring you to the King’s Road, and east to the River Thames banks.

Wir hatten zwei wundervolle Wochen mit unseren drei Kindern in London.
Das Haus liegt in einer exzellenten Lage und ist sehr gemütlich. Vor allem die Dachterrasse und das großzügige lichtdurchflutete Wohn-Esszimmer haben uns sehr gut gefallen.
Die Mitarbeiter der Agentur haben uns stets freundlich und kompetent auf all unsere Fragen geantwortet.
Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder!

Pros-- Cozy, comfy home. Nice quiet neighborhood, by the Thames; roof deck; reasonable price; very nice, large kitchen, well-appointed. A 5 min walk to King's Road for shopping.
Cons--Narrow steep stairs; each floor has a small footprint, so rooms are on 4 different levels. Stairway up from entry is so narrow it was hard to walk up carrying a suitcase--and no handrail. Definitely not for the mobility-challenged!
Neighborhood is off the beaten path; a little far from public transportation. No real views to speak of--you can see the river if you lean over a narrow balcony. If you have pet allergies, beware--signs of pets having been there (pet toys) and we all had allergy symptoms. Washer/dryer was unable to dry clothes.
The 2 single beds were short--good for little kids, but small for an adult.
Overall, though, a pleasant stay.

This is a nice place to stay for a small party with older kids or other adults. Just wasn’t functional for our group. The location is nice but is quiet a distance with traffic if trying to get to the hub of London. The decor is great and the natural light awesome.
