The Fulham Residences

This is a cozy one-bedroom flat in Chelsea, close to Stamford Bridge. The flat is spacious for London, with a cloakroom/walk-in closet and a balcony, plus everything you need for a short to medium stay. The sofa bed (which was my bed) was more comfortable than I expected, a major plus! A mini Tesco and a Sainsbury’s are close by, along with a few bus stops. Fulham Broadway tube station is 10-15 minute walk away which isn't far but there aren't many other coffee houses/ restaurants near the flat. Check-in was smooth and well coordinated, and Emanuel, who let us in, was helpful.

Communication from City Relay could be improved. The lockbox code was changed without notice, complicating our check-out, and we only learned of a door lock change when locksmiths turned up at our door. Advance notice would have been appreciated. Also, the window vent on the portable A/C unit let in some street noise, which was ok most days, but got loud when there was a game. Guests (especially if travelling with kids/ or sensitive guests) should check match days. Note that they will also block the road, divert traffic etc on match days so plan accordingly.

Spacious, light and in a good area if you want to be close to kings road and Sloane Square.
