Newhall Road - 4 Bedroom Chester Home - Parking

Lovely house! Very stylish and comfortable. It was easy to find and close to local amenities like Tesco and a whole row of shops and take aways. The house itself was very spacious and had everything you could need. We loved the dining table area and spent most of our time gathered around the table. We absolutely loved the new extension on the house ..such a lovely space! Towels and toiletries were an added bonus and also such items as toilet roll, tea coffee ect. The driveway was plenty big enough for 2 cars and meant we didn't need to worry about parking at all. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions and the linen was fresh and clean. There was a TV in every bedroom as well as the lounge so plenty of room to have time apart or spend time together as needed. Checking in and out was really easy and communication was great. The location was fantastic as it was close enough to Chester without being noisy. We all actually said how quiet it was there.

The only 2 things we didn't like was the bath plug had a huge hole in the middle so after 5 minutes of being in the bath the water emptied out! Simple fix! The other thing was it wasn't really very clean which did let it down slightly. You could see it had been wiped over and hoovered but there was a lot of dust build up and hair ect. However we still really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend.

The property has good parking. And spacious living area. The bedroom downstairs was a bonus for us and having a bathroom upstairs and shower downstairs was also good.

The mattresses on the sofa bed were very thin. I had to use both sofa cushions and then the mattress on top to make it sleep able or you could feel the bar at the top.

Nice house that slept us all, it was close to Chester and the zoo. Kitchen useful for eating in and great to be left with dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. Soap, shampoos and shower gels left in the bathroom for our use. Parking for 2 cars on the front ideal as on quite a busy street. Food places and a shop less than a minute walk away.

Could do with a real deep clean especially behind the sofas and on the carpets. Mattresses on the soft side of where we’d like but that’s always personal preference.

Ruined our family new year so nothing!

This property is the filthiest house we’ve ever stayed in! I would never stay here again! For a start it’s a 3 bed house with a fourth bedroom downstairs, so when I expecting a 4bed house with space was shocked to walk into a 3 bed. Then the filth! Other than cobwebs an unmade bed and bits all over the floors, which was just the start, the kitchen had dirt build up round the cupboard handles the drawers had all bits in, the hob and extractor had old grease on them!!! The bathrooms had toothpaste on the sink, wee under the toilet seats and in the one there was even poo specks 🤢 then there was the garden again nothing like the pictures I was greeted by a beer bottle left right by the back door fag nubs on the floor and it was a mess! When telling the host about the problems they felt a good way to solve this was to send a cleaner round on New Year’s Day which wasn’t ideal as this was some quality time with my family, so anyway I agreed asked what time they would be coming, as I have a very nervous dog who is not good with people and we would have taken her somewhere for a few hours. The host then ignored me and just sent someone over at 4pm I had no choice other than to send her away as I had no time to take my dog out!!! The host then tried to blame me for refusing the cleaner (which I didn’t) and refused to acknowledge they had ignored me 4 times during this whole situation!!! 😡 I got offered £48 back for the cleaning fee as I had to clean the bathrooms myself which I did as soon as I arrived!!! Absolutely not good enough when I paid £290 for a 4 bed clean home!!!! Do not stay here the house is dirty on a council estate and does have a small driveway!!! I can only upload 4 photos!!! Which is a-shame as I have sooo many.

The check in went smoothly. The rooms were spacious and clean.

Location is excellent, large size for a family traveling together so we had plenty of space. Well equipped property and excellent communication from the hosts.

Not much, if we were being overly critical, we’d say the carpets in the stairs need cleaning but other than that, all good :)

The location for us was great. Very spacious and perfect amenities.

The house all in all is in need of a good deep clean. The carpet is filthy and desperately needs replacing. The bathroom needs a serious update with condensation marks on the wall. The outside area was a mess and still had a beer can on the floor.
