The apartment was spacious and looked over a canal, so it was light and bright. It had everything I needed for a stay of one week. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and well appointed. Location is great for visiting the Biennale. The area has a lot of well priced cafes and restaurants and is out of the main very busy areas.
The bed could have been a bit more comfortable, maybe with a topper on it.

The host arranged an agent to pick up from boat station to handover the key and drop at property. Though I have to pay late check in fees of 50 euro. Quite a big room and super comfortable for 3 people. It has a sofa cum bunk bed, so you may accommodate 4th person. On the sides of canal and sea. It is on one of the main streets of Venice, so lots of restaurants on the streets. It has washing machine.
Paid a fees of 50 euro for late check in. Quite far from boat station, so if you have heavy luggage you need to drag till property as island do not have other means to reach your destination.

The location is very good. The kitchen and bathroom are renovated.
The bed wasn’t comfortable. There were no extra pillows. The sheets were the wrong size, so they had to put them width wise to cover the bed. Towels were of poor quality and the kitchen was sparsely equipped. The entrance looks shabby and neglected. There is no banister on the first and steep part of the stairs. the All in all the feeling was that despite the renovation, only a minimal effort was made with everything else.
