The location of this apartment was very walkable to transit, main train station, and a variety of restaurants. The apartment layout worked well for our family of six including three generations. A very large living room space with AC which was a great spot for us to hang out together. The floors were very quiet which we noted after being in several older buildings with squeaky floors. There was an elevator up to the apartment. The host was flexible to allow us to check in early, as our train arrived before the typical check in time. He stopped by to welcome us to the appartment and area and was very friendly and helpful.

Although we were allowed to check in early (which was very appreciated), we were told a key would be in the lockbox upon arrival and it wasn't so we had to wait at the door for 40 minutes until someone could bring a key to us. That was less than ideal. The cleanliness of the floors specifically felt subpar, our socks were quite dirty after walking around in them in the apartment. Our first impressions of the neighborhood did not feel great, but after exploring a bit more we felt safe and comfortable. Also of note, which we did not remember seeing in the information prior to arriving, you ARE allowed to smoke in the unit and while it didn't smell strongly of smoke there was lingering smell of smoke in the air which we did not enjoy, especially traveling with senior citizens and young children.
