A let down.

Location was good. Place was modern. Good view of the mountains.

The place smelt really overpoweringly of vomit. When I mentioned this to the host I was just told that the fridge had spilled. It honestly took one full day to get rid of the stench.

The building is fairly new as well as the amenities

The apartment was quite dirty, with stained pillowcases and oily kitchenware. The room is not at all noise insulated: you can hear every single thing happening in the corridors and on the street (which is a very noisy street). In the neighborhood there is not much to do or any good place to eat at.

It is central, and the apartment is just as it is stated. The host was a great communicator, would update me on things. The space is quite spacious.

The apartment was a bit dusty when I checked in& I had not informed the host, however the host provided me with a complimentary cleaning and changing of beddings which was truly very nice and appreciated.

The only downside was that the glass doors and windows didn’t seem to be very soundproof, so during windy conditions it could become quite loud at times.

The apartment was not as nice as the previous one I booked in August 2025. It also seemed like they were not expecting anyone to stay in that room, as it was not properly cleaned. However, I will still recommend Wex1 as I know they generally offer great service.

We ended up not staying the night, left because when we entered the room smelled like it was smoked in firstly. Secondly stains on the bedding and wall was a contributing factor to us leaving.

Check-in and out was quick and easy. Loved the secure access and parking of our vehicle. The view of Table Mountain was just beautiful from our window. Our room was spacious and clean.

The view was absolutely one of the best views i have had as i was on the 9th floor balcony

The room didn’t feel clean and there were oily hand marks on the table , also the bathroom / toilet has a bad smell . Lastly the area immediately outside was unsavory and i felt somewhat unsafe

It was double booked for our first night. I arrived from dbn at 7.30pm. To the news I had nowhere to stay as my apartment was given to someone else. The second play I refused to stay in as I felt we were extremely unsafe and then had to drive 1.5 hrs to a friend’s at midnight to sleep on her couch. I was not informed. My friend had to figure it all out while I was in the air. I ran two oceans marathon and was very stressed. Then told the remaining days were still available. I was reimbursed for the one 1 night and a free night given. But lost 1500 on a place I had to book and never stayed in. Very disappointing from booking.com advertised places. I am very reasonable and accidents happen but it was extremely unprofessional.
