The location was perfect
There was a strange noise from one of the down stairs rooms every night which I think came from next door. My husband didn’t notice it 🤷♀️ I’m just a light sleeper.

Spacious and clean villa. We were 5 adults and 1 12 year old. Great outdoor space and pool. Easy 10 minutes walk to the main strip and all the restaurants, bars and beach.
Great having a washing machine and dish washer and 4 bathrooms/shower rooms was ideal.
Only issue was the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms didn't work properly. (Twin bedroom on ground floor). To be fair we didn't contact the owner about it and he may have been able to sort if we had. Also air conditioning in the living room would probably be good to have.

The owner was responsive once we established his preferred communication. The water pumped went and he fixed it immediately.
Communication was very poor on arrival. We couldn’t get in contact with the owner for hours the day we arrived. We didn’t get to check in until after 5 for this. We arrived to the villa without knowing how to get in. The door was left open. Villa was empty and it looked like the pool area hadn’t been clean. The owner then arrived 30mins later. We were travelling with a small baby and the uncertainty of how to get in when we arrived was extremely stressful start to our holiday. All the cutlery and dishes were filthy and had been put away in the presses. We had to clean all of them when we arrived. The furniture outside is very outdated. There was a broken sun bed. Pictures are not up to date with what the property looks like now. There are cameras in the pool area. This was not mentioned or discussed with us. It’s unclear if they are on a closed circuit or not. This is a family villa and young children will be in this area with the cameras so this made us feel very uncomfortable. The owner mentioned he would be out to clean the pool after 2 days, he didn’t discuss a time and just arrived in the afternoon while we were all outside eating. There was a second person a couple days later who also came to clean the pool. He arrived early morning without any knock or warning. This highlights the poor communication again.
