The first thing worth mentioning is that the property has its own parking, which is a huge bonus in Japan. If you know, you know!
Location-wise, I honestly don't think you could ask for much more if you want to enjoy Mount Fuji from your own balcony. On my first morning, I woke up, opened the balcony door, and saw Mount Fuji right in front of me. My God, what a view! It's one of those moments that makes the entire stay worthwhile.
Another huge advantage is that Chureito Pagoda is only about a 5-minute walk from the property. Try to visit early in the morning to enjoy the views with fewer crowds and get some beautiful photos of Mount Fuji.
The room was a decent size, and the living area was excellent. Having a comfortable space to relax while enjoying the surroundings made the experience even better.
The beds weren't very comfortable, which could have made the stay more relaxing. The self-check-in process was also quite frustrating. We had to use a tablet to check in and take photos of our passports, but the camera angle was awkward and it was difficult to figure out where it was pointing. The process could definitely be made more user-friendly.

The villa is located next to Chureito Pagoda, just a few minutes’ walk from the stairs. You can see Mt Fuji from the balcony and that’s very nice. The property is nice and clean and great for a one-to-two-night stay. Tip: Use Google Translate to message the owner in Japanese and they will quickly reply.
If you don’t have a car it’s quite challenging to have dinner because all nearby restaurants are closed so your options are a 20-30 minute walk to a 7-Eleven or maybe even more to a restaurant. There are plenty of options for brekkie & lunch so be prepared for dinner! Didn’t like that the property doesn’t have a dishwasher, bathroom is upstairs with bedrooms downstairs and there are also illuminated EXIT signs inside the villa making it harder to sleep if you don’t like to sleep with the bedroom door closed.
