Surrounding and Beachfront was highly valuable. Accommodation was comfortable and cosy. Friendly owner and his family who has made my day on 14th April with traditional Kiribath and other treats that was remembered ever.
Everything was comfortable and commendable.

Very pleasant guesthouse, with lovely host, who was very helpful and courteous. An example was going out of his away to advise on onward travel directly to Galle - identified a long distance bus at 0615, which I would never have found. Beach is 2 minutes opposite, so Sea View is not an exaggeration. Rooms were basic but spotlessly clean and excellent value for money.
Batticaloa is a few km away so necessary to go in by tuktuk - this is not really a criticism as Kallady is a separate area, away from the main city.

Clean room with the sound of the ocean waves in the night. Literally 2 min walk to the beach from the entrance door. Silent place during the night. Hot water, working AC.
There is a relatively busy road in front of the building, so you can hear a lot of three-wheelers and bikes passing by in the morning and afternoon. There are not alot shops and places to eat nearby.
