Hotel krish

Lovely little bungalows just a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. Lovely staff and delicious vegetarian breakfast. Nice cat and dogs.

Simple and clean apartment owned by a very friendly person. The beds were clean and comfortable and the room was located near a nice beach.

There were insects in the bathroom and frogs coming out of the washbasin. Considering it’s the countryside this seems fine but may be quite scary for those who are not used to having so much nature at home. Many electrical sockets in the bedroom were not working.

The staff were generally pleasant and smiling. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the hotel is well located, close to two nice beaches: one more touristy with hotels, the other very quiet and peaceful.

Service was not as attentive as in other places we stayed in Sri Lanka. A dinner we requested by WhatsApp before arrival was not available once on site, with no reply to our message. Breakfast was also only available from 8:30 am, which meant we had to leave on an excursion with an empty stomach. One of our rooms had a strong bathroom smell, covered with air fresheners that made the atmosphere unpleasant. Few power sockets were working, and we also found insects and small frogs in the bathrooms.
