Casa dos Rosas

The accomodation is clean, spacious and with many facilities such as a communal large kitchen with everything in it you can think of. We enjoyed the terrace and the pool a lot. Check in is done remotely or with a code so we haven't actually seen the owner but we did speak to him and he was able to open the main door for us remotely whenever it suites us. Parking is done at a nearby square which is only 150m away from the accomodation.

Cavião itself is nothing to write home about. Restaurants are expensive and especially in the evenings, are virtually all empty. For lunch they usually have daily specials with one fish and one meat dish, but like I said they are more expensive than what I am used to pay in Portugal and I live there. Pity that one restaurant, the one facing the petrol station, was closed due to family circumstances, during the time we were there but there were 3 other options available, all within a few meters distance from the accomodation.

Saubere Unterkunft, geräumiges Zimmer, gutes Restaurant fußläufig erreichbar, Fremde werden in dem sympathischen Ort freundlich empfangen - wir jedenfalls haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Und die Motorräder haben einen Platz in der Garage bekommen, der PKW-Parkplatz ist aber auch in der Nähe.
