"It was nice cozy home. There was a river near by but we ended up going to lake travis and mansfield dam which where 20 to 30 minute drive. It was a fun family vacation"

We stayed here for a wedding and it was very convenient. The photos largely look like what’s there. It was fine, but nothing to write home about. Couches could use a little upholstery cleaning, but otherwise the place was clean and the beds comfortable enough and had plenty of towels. One odd thing was the lack of a fresh sponge in the kitchen and the lack of soap in the shower, only shampoo. A new sponge for the kitchen would have been appreciated. Our TV didn’t work and I mentioned that to the owner, who said they could send someone to look at it but never did. Not a big problem as we don’t watch much TV, but a little follow up would have been nice. There was a ring in the toilet bowl, but that may have been a hard water thing. I would certainly stay there again if I had a function on site, but would not seek it out otherwise.

Our initial check in was a fiasco due to a grumpy mother of the bride who helped herself to OUR cabin. Property management really went above and beyond to find us a spot to stay. Also was very accommodating and flexible with the kids and what they felt comfortable with. We didn’t stay in the cabin we originally booked - but we got a cozy cabin that worked just fine for us. It was clean, bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and would totally recommend for families.

We had six in the house comfortably. No way you could fit more than 8. The construction next door totally ruined the view of the river valley. The river is a long walk from the cottage, really a short drive.

It's a beautiful place to relax! We came for work, so it was especially nice to be able to unwind here on the off hours. It's part of a larger wedding venue, so other people there were also enjoying themselves even though we didn't interact with them. Katrina the host was very kind and helpful helping us out with a few things and great communication. Thank you!

    OK, but inaccurate description

Cute place, nice view, pleasant owner and good management. The property description is quite inaccurate however. This is basically an open space with a curtained-off bedroom, a nice bathroom, one other non-private bed, and two sleeping lounges. It certainly does not sleep 12 as described (6 at most). The only sink is in the bathroom. There is a small fridge and only a microwave for cooking. No glasses or eating utensils. There is no washer/dryer as described, nor the claimed outdoor sports equipment. It is very convenient though for weddings at Blissful Hill, just a short walk away.

Property is clean and tastefully decorated. Has everything you need for a fun weekend or stay-cation. Plenty of room in the house with a large kitchen. The outdoor amenities allow for a campfire, games and outside dining. We really enjoyed our time there.
