Contemporary 2 Bedroom Flat in Bayswater

Appartamento molto bello, pulito e con il plus di non avere la moquette. Letti comodi, bagno completo di sapone, doccia schiuma e shampoo (oltre al phon). Posizione comoda con la metropolitana e bella zona per tornare anche tardi la sera (unica pecca è che la cucina dei locali chiude presto, ad esempio alle 22:00 non c'era già più nulla). Modalità di check-in veloce e sempre disponibile mediante il ritiro presso un negozio a 3 minuti a piedi dall'appartamento. Chdck-out come il check-in.

I cuscini erano molto morbidi e molto bassi (ma questa è una preferenza personale). L'edificio era coperto dalle impalcature quindi soprattutto nei giorni lavorativi si sentiva un po' di rumore (ma questo è temporaneo).

The location is very convenient. It’s close to the metro, train station, and bus stop. The keys to the apartment need to be picked up at a shop that is a 4-minute walk away. The apartment is spacious and has everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The building is quite old and currently undergoing renovations on both sides. Since we were leaving early, it wasn’t a big issue for us. However, when the drilling started, it became unbearably loud. I’d also like to note that the walls in the building are very thin. Because of this, you can hear absolutely everything — the neighbors, loud slamming doors, the creaking of the old elevator, and voices. It’s noisy. The issue is not with the apartment itself, but with the building. The apartment was a bit chilly.

Location is great and convenient. The flat is a nice size and quieter as on the fifth floor.

Check-in is a bit of a hassle as the keys are located quite a distance away (5-6 minute drive) from the actual flat which made it very inconvenient when coming from the airport with luggage. The flat is nice but some things are a little outdated and need some work e.g. doors and locks, especially the bathroom, which was a sometimes ublockable. The lift (which is not the fault of the owner) is old, small and difficult to use if you have things to carry. The beds were stated as extra large whereas they were standard double beds. Some amenities were incomplete e.g. there was an iron but nonironing board and no mop or broom to clean with. The biggest issue that made the stay uncomfortable was that I clearly stated that I had 2 children ages 10 & 11 and there page on booking stated that Children of any age are welcome yet was sent a message once stating that infants were strictly not allowed and when sent the policy by them a day before check-in, it stated again that children under 12 were not allowed.

Close to Bayswater. Heater works perfectly.

1.) Check-in instruction was not sent to me prior. Had to ring them for check-in instruction an hr after the supposed check-in time since we were already outside of the building only to find out we had to collect the keys 12 mins away. Should they have sent me the instruction earlier this wouldn’t have inconvenienced us. 2.) The biggest factor when booking this place was the lift as we were travelling with big luggages. Didn’t get notified about the lift being out of service and was told due to the nature of the building and how old the lift is, that it sometimes gets stuck. This should be known to people who are booking this place as it can be inconvenient for people on wheelchairs/people travelling with heavy bags. 3.) Throw pillows have yellow stains on them.
