Founders Lane Apartments by Urban Rest

Convent location, decent level of comfort.

Apartment was great and had everything we needed. Did not even need to use the heating even though in Canberra in a winter July.

Finding the car parking spaces ( two which was wonderful) was really difficult. A map of the car park with spaces indicated would have been appreciated rather than having to send three people to search.

Very close walking distance to city and restaurants location. It's also a nice walk to the war memorial.

Location

Having to produce biometric identification to access the property- this is in the fine print . We were sent a link to their site so we could complete check in. This included uploading a photo and drivers licence.We objected to this multiple times and even contacted bookings for assistance- but no avail- we were forced to go ahead with the booking as the free cancellation period passed. We also requested for a manger to contact us to discuss multiple time- no one called. I find this a gross intrusion on privacy & would never ever stay at a property that requires biometrics etc again. The apartment is nice and centrally located- but as it’s ground floor and backs on to a laneways- it can be rather noisey.
