Stylish Braddon Retreat 2Bedroom with Free Parking

I liked the location and size of the apartment, the kitchen set up and the parking and the cleanliness. The owner responded reasonably quickly to my messages. We were there during winter and the split systems did an adequate job of keeping the rooms warm. Even though there were downsides, I would consider staying there again.

The lock box with the key was at a different location to the apartment building but I didn't get the info until just before check in time, only bc I wrote to the owner to ask for the info. As I was driving it would have been nice to receive that info earlier instead of me driving to the apartment building only to find out I needed to go elsewhere for the key. It would also have been better to have 2 fobs and keys instead of just one as there were two of us in the apartment. Also the mattress in the main brm needs to be changed as there is a big dent on one side. The soap holder was not attached to the shower wall properly. The apt is set outside of the main building overlooking the bbq area and the pool. That made the room quite cold and noisy when there were people in the bbq area which there was one night.

The location is great and the unit is well laid out. A little ’tired’ though.

The instructions for getting the key and getting into the garage was difficult because of road closure, and the key’s location is at a place which appears to be on a different street from that given in the instruction. The mattress on the bed was old and not comfortable and requires replacing.

Location was fabulous

The unit was clean but tired. There were a lot of light bulbs not working. e.g. none working in hallway and bathroom only had one light (too dark). The only available tea bags were camomille and green tea (ie. no "normal" tea. The bed in the main bedroom was small. There were no coat-hangers in the main bedroom. The additional pillows (I like to sleep with two) hadf no pillow slips.
