Could do with some work outside but inside is clean warm and comfortable

2 double rooms which accommodated 4 adults although one double bed in smaller room up against wall. Comfy beds. Quiet and storage adequate. Double blinds keep out light and warmth in Warm/ clean/ well-equipped kitchen. Good instructions Re use of kitchen equipment TV great and again ease of use Room on drive for 2 cars

My main criticism: nowhere to dry towels indoors. Too damp in October to hang outside 4 damp large towels after 4 days. towel rail needed in bathroom or supply 2 large towels per person? Also new bath mat needed! - 0 Garden was more just an outside space with concrete and lawn. No plants/trees. Wouldn't be keen to sit outside really Garden furniture was rusty and unusable. Conservatory/dining room would be improved with more permanent heating so more usable in cooler weather. Currently separate from kitchen by door.

Ideally situated bungalow for a couple to get acquainted with Anglesey

Very clean and well equipped. Excellent location close to many places of interest and good road links to the whole island. Ideal space for a couple. Excellent range of cleaning products. Airfryer very useful.

Outside table & chair quite rusty. Comfortable deck chairs would be great for the summer. Suggest that guests are encouraged to contribute their recommendations for places to visit and restaurants.

Fern hill more than just any cottage.

it's a lovely cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We booked it for it's location to Anglesey circuit Trac Môn being just 15mins away. The cottage is full of intricate little details throughout. it really is a home from home, will be booking again.

The heating hadn't been on when we arrived so was a little chilly, but once it warmed up it was cosy, warm and dry.

Home away from home feeling , totally relaxing, missing it already!

We absolutely loved the cottage , we found it a well equiped cottage with all you could possibly need, and spacious too with a large private garden.,It's location was brill and not far to drive to the many different beaches within a 15mile radius, so if you have a car there is no problem going somewhere different each day. Newborough Bay & forest literally on the doorstep and it's beautiful! We will definitely be coming back at some point.

Excellent property near to beach & red squirrels

I've stayed in quite a few self catering properties over the years, but this was the most well-equipped I've ever stayed in. The owners had clearly thought very carefully about what was required, and even a slow cooker was available. There was ample cutlery & crockery, this meant we didn't need to run the dishwasher very often as we never ran out of the essentials. The location is great for the beach at Newborough & for seeing red squirrels very close by. Although the owners make it clear that early access to the property isn't available, I hadn't seen that so had requested it. They pulled out all the stops & we did get early access.

The only negative - which wouldn't be a problem if you didn't have unseasonably bitterly cold weather, as we did - was that the heating couldn't be programmed to come on at certain times. There were electric heaters, which heated the rooms well, but you had to manually turn them on and set them to turn off after a certain period of time. Not the end of the world, by any means, just a little inconvenient.

Exceptional

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, homely and the location is excellent. Well fitted kitchen, comfortable beds and great shower. There is a convenience store only a 10 minute walk away, sold everything and friendly staff. Our favourite restaurant was The Oyster Catcher (17 minutes by car).

Little tricky parking up but put it down to having large SUV.
