About this villa rental
We fell in love with Skala the first time we visited, with its great beach, beachside tavernas and laid back atmosphere. Modern and bright with a sparkling pool set in its garden, Villa Seagull is the perfect Villa to combine sea and pool, meals out with self catering, privacy with the livelier atmosphere of the resort tavernas and cafes. The villa is ideal for groups of friends and families with each comfortable bedroom having its own shower room.
Location - Skala
Villa Seagull has a view second to none, set on the rising coast line, overlooking the sea where on clear days, you can see right across to the Greek mainland.
It’s just 1.2 kms along the coast from the laid back resort of Skala and a pleasant evening stroll can be followed by a short taxi ride back.
If you’d rather not move even that far from the Villa (perfectly understandable), then within a very few minutes walk there is a lovely little relatively undiscovered pebbly cove with beautiful clear water and two excellent tavernas.

Housekeeping
Your Villa will be prepared for you on arrival with fresh bath and hand towels and all beds made up.
For stays of 7 nights or more - house towels will be changed every 3 - 4 days.
For stays of 14 nights or more - bed linen will be changed every 7 days.
Pool/beach towels - one per person for the duration of your stay.
Parking - There is space for parking next to the Villa, with several steps down to the entrance.

Villa spotlessly clean with good beds and pillows. Bedrooms were bright and spacious and all had sea/pool views. It was good to have one bedroom on the ground floor.
Good location on the edge of the village, very quiet at night, but still handy for local services.
There were a lot of steps down to the front door which made heaving luggage up and down hard work. The gate with a slope was locked. The indoor stairs would be safer with a handrail on the upper section.
Lounge seating area very small for full occupancy.
Maybe it's a little old fashioned but we find that a villa guide with physical pages is so much easier to peruse than via a QR code.

Location so close to the water’s edge is hard to beat. Skala centre is easily accessible and right next door is a great cove for snorkelling. Patio and pool area is fantastic.
Bathrooms in particular need modernisation. Shabby fixtures, shower heads need replacement, leaking plumbing. Overall interior feel of villa is rather tired and dated. Compensated by the rear patio area which is great!

Amazing uninterrupted views of the sea, lovely pool, well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Denise, the owner, was so efficient and great fun! Would be very happy to return.
