KOEHLER KOTTAGE - Come join us in Hunt, TX on the Guadalupe River - the perfect spot to relax and refresh! Come and enjoy nature and the solitude of this quiet neighborhood. This location is NOT a party environment - which means "no parties, no loud music and no additional guests". This charming country cottage - nestled among the tall oak trees will not disappoint. Three bedroom two bath home includes a bonus room that is a bedroom as well as just a place to hang out and more.
New to listing is the electric fireplace - perfect for the winter! Curl up with a good book from the library or watch TV or your favorite movie! We have added a sleeper sofa in the living room.
Come enjoy this Guadalupe River cottage & river park with massive towering Cypress trees that line the grassy river banks. Our location on the Guadalupe River is just steps from the riverfront (about 200 yards) and is great for family relaxing, fishing or just floating. There is easy access to jump right in from the concrete dock along the river. Have a family picnic in under the large pavilion, or set up tables and have a family game day. Located just minutes from The Hunt Store as well as some of the most popular summer camps in the area - Waldemar, Mystic, La Junta, Heart of the Hills, Camp Stewart, Camp Honey Creek and Vista Camps (just to name a few). The Point Theater / Stonehenge II and Easter Island Heads, Crider’s Rodeo & Dancehall, Mo Ranch, and the YO Ranch are some of the nearby attractions.

Day trips are a cinch - you might want to check out Lost Maples Natural Area (State Park), Utopia, Garner State Park, the Frio River or Concan to the West; and Kerrville, Comfort and/or Fredericksburg for shopping / winery tours to the East. You can always hop on I-10 to San Antonio for Fiesta Texas / Sea World or shopping at La Cantera and more.

Very pleasant and scenic community. The property was very dusty inside and out. After we dusted the place and wiped out the refrigerator and microwave, we enjoyed the amenities Except for the the coffee pot, it did not work. We had to go McDonald's each morning for coffee and breakfast. We did not use the stove nor the oven. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place!

This cottage has a great kitchen, attractive and functional. The DR table expanded to comfortably seat family for Thanksgiving. Having a fire pit was a real plus on a crisp fall day. Best of all was the very fine and attentive host of this house, from check in to check out, she was always available.
