About this house rental
Showcased in the San Antonio Express newspaper. This comfortable home is one of a kind with an open floor plan. Designed and built by the owner, features a large fireplace..all rock hand picked from the river. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, pots, pans etc...everything you could possibly need.The counter tops are laid with.beautiful marble tile. Six bar stools draped with exotic hides, surround the island in the kitchen
The house has a very large upstairs loft with a queen bed and 2 twin beds decked out in vibrant colors. A small balcony facing the lake has a large metal art piece with a tropical theme. There is a full bath upstairs with a claw foot tub and a most unusual bathroom door.
Downstairs has a new leather queen size sleeper with a comfortable blow up mattress.. The entire house has lots of unique features. You have to see it to believe it. Please note, this property is not suitable for small children.
The house opens up to a huge outside deck overlooking the spring fed lake. There are several seating areas for the utmost in outdoor living. From the deck, walk down a few stairs to a dock on a crystal clear spring fed private lake. Enjoy paddle boating and fishing. This lake always has cool crystal clear water. The water depth is at least 23' deep!
On the side of the house is a large rock patio boasting a great fire pit. Cool outdoor kitchen area with large grill , smoker pit, charcoal grill and sink. There is also an outdoor shower overlooking the lake.
On the other side of the house, is a vegetable garden...all organic.
Things to do include hiking, swimming, paddle boating, fishing, and much more. Only 15 minutes from the town of Leakey, where there are many restaurants, shopping for antiques or souvenirs. Of course there is tubing on the Frio too, if we get some rain!
