If you`re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of big city The Lodge at Lightning Bug Springs is the perfect destination; 15 acres of beautiful property nestled along the banks of the Dry Frio. Don`t let the name `Dry` fool you, though. There is a swimming hole just steps away. The property offers a swimming pool, hiking, a large fire pit, a volleyball net, tire swings, horse shoes, soccer goals and large shade trees for enjoying nature. In the evening watch the sun set while the deer graze in the field.
The Lodge offers 3 bedrooms; 1 King, and 2 Queens with 2 full bathrooms. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a full size refrigerator, range top oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee pot. It has a living room with two couches and two chairs. The dining area has a large dining table for 6.
The home has central air & heat, washer & dryer and a smart tv.
The Lodge is far enough from the noise of the main river to experience a peaceful retreat, but just minutes from Concan and its quaint restaurants, quirky shops or to float the Frio.

We really enjoyed our stay and liked the access to the river. The grounds were very nice with the pavilion and outdoor games available. We will definitely return.
