property was clean, plenty storage for clothes, clean bedding, perfect for a family stay with so many places nearby to visit! hosts very helpful

we arrived and door lock was a bit tricky but we got into the property eventually, we went to go to bed and found a bed was totally broken and not able to be slept in, however host was very helpful, and we came to a agreement we both happy with, recieved a partial refund for the inconvienience. could of done with some coat hooks for jackets and coats, parking was tricky but we managed.

Base house for Snowdonia

Lovely spacious rooms and large although slightly dated bathroom. Very near to a handy co-op and fish n chips.

It was a bit cold in the evenings and wasn't informed how it could be heated. The light in the kitchen could have been brighter.

Amazing property with great local amenities including shops and attractions nearby. Close to Snowdon and other great walks. The property was spacious and well equipped with a great layout. It was clean and beds were comfy. An excellent way to check in via key coded box and we can not fault the property at all. My photos do not do the property justice.

For us it was perfect but not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Great holiday stay

The location was very calm and pleasant.it’s really very easy to find all our needs ,specially for Muslims we little bit worried how can find halal food shops but What a wonder only 200 meter around walking distance there are kebabs shop , bakery ,cop and Morisons. It’s a great time save for family stay . The villa is so clean very spacious for our family 2 adults and 4 kids. Specially they provide the all kitchen stuff . We really happy with stayed at Old surgery villa on 24 th April. Area was so clam beautiful view Very pleasant help full people .

Overall we had wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at this property. Very clean and comfy beds. We stayed for the weekend and climbed snowdon on one of the days- the location was perfect for this. The host is also very lovely and kind. We had left behind one of our belongings which they very kindly posted to us, which we were very grateful for.

House is ok but street full of rubbish

The house inside was clean, well heated, the beds were good and there were 4 TVs.

The street in front of the house is full of rubbish, overflowing bins, an old sofa and old mattresses, including one on the neighbour's roof. We had to move a mattress to park the car. This street hasn't been cleaned since ages. People were smoking weed on an old sofa outside. The house inside was ok but the shabby atmosphere around it is unpleasant. Our advice to the owner is: have things cleared and cleaned in front and next to the house, then you will have satisfied guests :) About the house: Nothing crucial, but we missed: bedside lamps, a socket in one bedroom, a dishwasher, light above the sink. keep in mind that there is only one toilet and it is in the only bathroom, is less comfortable with a group of 5/6

Excellent as base for touring, great property with spacious rooms. Not much to see in the town.

Large property, spotlessly clean. Central location in Snowdonia National Park. Co-Op shop 30 seconds' walk! Amazing scenery, fascinating history of slate industry.

No info on parking until after booking. Needs mentioning in the listing. One space only, which was occupied when we arrived but sorted quickly. Town is a bit run-down, lots of empty shops, only one place to eat mid-week (curry house, very good, we went twice!)

It was a really enjoyable weekend & the property was great for what we wanted to do.

Location was great, we were booked into ZipWorld so it was a few minutes away. The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The neighbours were helpful with parking our car as it is a tight squeeze. Everyone in Blaenau Festiniog is friendly but don't expect posh restaurants and cosy pubs!

Although neighbours are very friendly they can get a bit rowdy :). The pubs are 'old school' and eating out is more functional than inspiring but we had a great time, met some fun locals and had a great time. We are all physically fit but the house layout wouldn't suit anyone with physical disabilities. We parked our car OK (Evoke) but a big/long car wouldn't be easy to park or easy to drive along some of the local roads.

Kitchen needs more cookware: oven dishes, Collander, measuring jug, etc. Cooker labels worn off so guesswork required. Both easy fixes. Had to remind host about champagne that was advertised (actually proscecco). End of lane hangout for druggies (where you are expected to park your car). Lots of individuals (all ages) hanging out morning & evening. Drinking carlsberg & smoking weed at 10am! They were not threatening but its not very nice. I parked elsewhere over nights 2 & 3. In future I would find a better location for my money.

The allocated parking spot needs definition of space, (we were sent pic from hosts) as we were unable to park our large car in without upsetting the neighbours.

It was ok. A bit far from Snowdon trekking routes.

Heating was a bit of an issue. The separate hot and cold water taps in the bathroom are annoying. The shower base was cracked. More light in the kitchen is needed. The garbage in the alleyway blocks entry to the parking in the back and it is a tight squeeze.

Simply fantastic!

It was a perfect place for our short trip, Hussle free check in, easy parking and great instructions from the hosts how to get there. Super clean and fresh plus well equipped with everything you may need. I will definitely book it again.
