Comfortable contemporary villa — excellent service
We spent a weekend at Villa de Luxe in Franschhoek and felt immediately at home in the lovely contemporary villa. The staff were flexible and attentive — Villa Manager Rasheeda in particular went above and beyond — and the host even arranged a friendly, professional chef who prepared delicious meals. Our stay was too short; we’ll definitely return for a longer visit.

Friendly and active hosts, a very nice breakfast cooked for us each morning based on our requests, an extremely well looked after and clean house and pool area.
All guests did not sleep well because the blinds and curtains used in all three of the bedrooms do not block much sunlight in the morning. If you go in the summer, like we did, the room is extremely bright from 5am onwards which made sleeping past this time very difficult.
Our host kindly offered us some eye-masks, but I find it difficult to sleep with eye-masks on.
My suggestion would be to replace the curtains with blackout curtains and make sure they cover the windows fully.

The property is soo beautifully, looks and feels like new. The owner has given soo much love to the space, it shows. littleLittle details are taken care of and it’s a dream house!

This really is a perfect property. So beautifully designed and everything looks and feels
completely new. It’s so well maintained. The owners and managers treat this property with so much care. It was super comfortable and felt like home. Perfect location for star gazing as well. It has all the facilities needed for the perfect home to home stay. The host and chef were exceptionally wonderful people.
There really isn’t anything to fault in this property. Perhaps add ac units downstairs and hook up the lights to the generator during load shedding. But really this property was perfection and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or come back!
