The hosts (Julie and Darren) are lovely. The flat is really nice.

The flat is situated above a restaurant, so unfortunately we could hear the music until late, and we couldn’t sleep properly.

Exceptional

Fabulous little apartment. Perfect for an extended stay in Hoddesdon while we visited family. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. The washing machine and kitchen facilities fulfilled all our needs. No dryer, but drying rack provided. Internet worked great, and the smart TV with Netflix was a nice bonus. Host very easy to get in contact with. We will stay again.

Could be a bit noisy in the evenings from the restaurant below, when they had a function on.

A few things went wrong but Whatever went wrong they were quick to fix . I asked for washing machine and oven to be cleaned and they were friendly and were there straght away. I was told i would get the 50 quid charge for cleaning refunded . I will let you know when i get it

Stayed here before - perfect for my work. I gave up my balcony apartment for a lady who needed it after flooding of her home, so stayed in an apartment without balcony.The apartment is lovely and shops/food/petrol/restaurants all within easy reach (i.e. two minute walk!). The hosts are very helpful and reply to any queries quickly.

You need to know where to go as satnav sends you to a street behind the apartment. Google map it or talk to hosts beforehand. The toilet stopped working but they called a plumber quickly, and we sorted it in the end when repairs did not work.

Location

Clean but could be cleaner. Electric shower disconnected leaving shower over taps which wasn’t very good. In warm weather with windows open location very noisy….not just road traffic but pigeons who have made their home directly above bedroom window.
