Nous n'avons séjourné qu'une nuit mais nous avons apprécié la disponibilité de l'hôte pour nous accueillir malgrè une arrivée tardive, ainsi que la propreté et le confort du logement très bien équipé . Nous reviendrions avec plaisir pour y séjourner un peu plus et découvrir Avignon.

The apartment could not be faulted for cleanliness, which is an important factor, hence not scoring this stay lower. The apartment and everything inside was new and clean.
The lady owner appeared to be kind enough. She did not speak English but then neither did we speak French. We managed to understand each other. She very kindly allowed us to taste the Bergamot fruit from the tree in front of the apartment.
Parking was available on the street in front of the property, a car is required for visiting Avignon. Safe residential area, however we did not walk in the neighbourhood at night and we can't advise on that.
This is one of two apartments at the ground floor of a house which appeared to be lived in by the owners, whose kids we could hear running above. The place was a building site for the short time we were there.
We thought it was very inconsiderate of them to still rent out the apartment when they were having building works. We only booked the accommodation the day before, they must have known that a large pile of sand was going to be delivered just at the time of our arrival (the photos were taken the following morning by which time most of the sand had been shifted).
Resting at the place in the afternoon when we arrived and the following morning was impossible as there was a lot of action in the garden in front of the apartment, literally sand being wheelbarrowed 1 metre or less from our bedroom door (the bedroom does not have a window but an external door). We were glad to leave the place and go to another location in Avignon, where for a marginally higher price we found excellent accommodation with a swimming pool and within walking distance to all sites.
