nice view but disappointing

the view of the castle was pretty cool at night and it had most things for cooking etc

me and my 4 year old daughter stayed here for one night, we arrived just after check in maybe 5 ish. we chilled on apartment and around 6 i think i decided to pull down the bed! after pulling it down i noticed that the bed was on a bad slant. i tried contacting the property who was supposed to be available before 7 but i had no reply untill about 10 at night on which they told me it wasn’t like that before and someone would fix it after we left the next day. so all night me and my daughter slept on a sloping bed and then the next day i looked at my photos i took when i had arrived and realised that the bed was on a slant from our arrival. i spent days trying to contact them, finally they replied and said i needed to make an official complaint for compensation through booking. when booking tried to contact them they didn’t reply. i have given this atleast a month to sort before writhing this review incase they could have compensated me as it was a terrible nights sleep and pretty expensive bit they haven’t responded and so i am now writing this. additionally the room was pretty cramped and there wasn’t room to put stuff or move around. i guess your paying for the view which is cool but not really worth everything else that comes with it. also the toilet is across the hall which you have to go in the dark and this was also not enjoyable leaving my daughter each time in the night.

Great location, good price and very convenient with view of the castle and bars and restaurants close by.

The toilet was shared, across the hallway, accessible by a key but as the hallway light didn't work was difficult to see.

Location, that's unbeatable! Open look towards the castle.

A bit too small, very well equipped but a bit claustrophobic. Also, curtains that protect a wardrobe for the heater and cleaning tools was not cleaned. You could smell the dust.

Smart room with everything necessary

A tiny flat opposite to the castle with everything one needs and a bit more. I liked that most and the view to the old walls. The historical center is in walking distance.

Les toilettes dont la chasse d’eau ne fonctionnait pas (obliger de sortir en centre ville pour faire ces besoins) La douche était bouché. Le lit de travers L’appartement n’était pas propre.

Posizione ottimale, castello e quartiere antico davanti e dietro l'appartamento!

Ci sono due cose che possono essere migliorate: le tende oscuranti altrimenti alle 6 non si dorme più...e gli scarichi da rivedere, se si usa il lavandino esce il contenuto dallo scarico della doccia insieme a ciò che le tubature hanno conservato...!

Bon logement pour 1-2 nuits

Logement situé en plein centre de Caen, ce qui facilite grandement les déplacements. Les toilettes séparées de la chambre (sur le palier). La réactivité de l’hôte.

L’opacité des stores qui ne permettait pas de cacher les éclairages sur le château la nuit.. et l’eau chaude qui n’arrivait pas très vite par moment…

No lo recomiendo.

La ubicación y la vista.

A menos que viajes solo y con poco presupuesto, no lo recomiendo para nada. Sí, tiene buena ubicación, vista directa al castillo y al lado de un pasaje con buenos restaurantes, pero nada más. El studio está lleno de hongos en las paredes por la humedad de la ducha, la manilla de la puerta estaba mala y no pudimos cerrar la puerta en la noche. El baño (wc) se encuentra fuera del departamento, en el pasillo del edificio, por lo que el cambio de temperatura al ir de noche al baño es terrible, además de no ser cómodo. Una vez que bajamos la cama no pudimos volver a subirla para aprovechar el "espacio". La cama crujía terrible, daba la sensación que se iba a caer (y somos delgados). Si bien tenía sábana bajera y cobertor, por el frío sacamos del "closet" el otro cobertor y tenía mal olor, se notaba que no fue lavado. El lavaplatos juntaba agua y la esponja para lavar también tenía hongos.

Séjour très agréable, dans une studette charmante et confortable

Studette très joliment décorée et bien agencée. Emplacement idéal pour les touristes, avec vue imprenable sur les tours du château. J'y étais pour des raisons professionnelles et j'étais donc tout près de l'Université. La propriétaire a pensé à tout, le studio est extrêmement bien équipé, avec une déco très tendance : on s'y sent bien, atmosphère cosy. Extrême propreté, ce qui est très appréciable. L'étage n'est pas gênant, car c'est un immeuble des années 60 (escalier facile à monter, même avec une valise) : en contrepartie, on a une super vue ! Je reviendrai avec plaisir.
