Casa de los colores San cris

Hemos estado unos días alojados en La Casa de los Colores y la experiencia ha sido excelente. Todo estaba perfecto desde el primer momento. La atención ha sido inmejorable: el personal es muy amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier cosa que necesites. La habitación era muy cómoda, limpia y acogedora, ideal para descansar después de recorrer San Cristóbal de las Casas. Uno de los aspectos que más nos gustó fueron las terrazas de la parte superior. Son un lugar precioso para relajarse, disfrutar del ambiente y contemplar unas vistas espectaculares de la ciudad y de las montañas. Además, por la mañana te pueden preparar un café o un té, y desayunar allí arriba con esas vistas es un auténtico lujo. Sin duda, es un alojamiento totalmente recomendable. Si volvemos a San Cristóbal de las Casas, repetiremos encantados. ¡Muchas gracias por hacernos sentir como en casa!

Ottimo alloggio. Camera ampia, cucina in comune dove poter cucinare. Ampio terrazzo al piano superiore dove poter stare. Situato a circa 20 minuti a piedi dal centro.

¡Qué alegría, después de tres semanas en hostales, poder disfrutar por fin de una habitación privada! Se siente realmente bien. Las habitaciones privadas están en una casa colonial muy grande y bonita. Los baños y la cocina son compartidos, pero todo está muy limpio y bien cuidado. Jorge es encantador, muy atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Responde rápidamente a los mensajes, da muy buenos consejos y también puede organizar excelentes excursiones según lo que quieras hacer. Además, hay un ambiente muy agradable en la casa. Sinceramente, no tengo nada negativo que decir: todo está perfecto. ¡Recomiendo este lugar sin dudarlo!

The place is quite clean. Myra takes very good care to ensure that it stays that way. There’s always hot water, and the wi-fi, for the most part, works pretty well. The people who stay here are really nice, and there’s a sense of community. Although a bit far from the central area, the location is quite interesting and is a real neighborhood off the tourist track. The city’s huge central market is only about a 10-minute walk away, and you can buy most of the things you need to cook your own breakfast or other meals, if you so desire.

You pretty much get what you pay for. The guesthouse is quite inexpensive, but that may not be a good thing. When we arrived, we were quite surprised. The pictures of the place on booking.com look much better than it actually is. They were quite obviously photo shopped. The paint is peeling off of the walls, and there’s graffiti all over the railing around the second floor. The kitchen pots and pans are ancient and dented, and the plates are all plastic that’s hard to clean. We thought about leaving, but we paid for six weeks and wouldn’t get our money back. Also be aware that the rooms on the top floor are often too hot during the day – we were there in Feb/Mar – and the rooms on the first and second are too cold, as there is no heat or air conditioning.
