The apartment was nicely renovated. The kitchen and bathroom were very well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfy. The laundry was nice to have. The location was average for a Barcelona suburb: a few stores, parks, restaurants and public transit nearby. The host explained things very well, and even had a nicely printed guide of things to do and see. Value for money was average for Barcelona.
We were on the ground floor next to the main entrance of the building. The narrow street had cars parked on both sides. The windows were at eye level for pedestrians, so we did not feel comfortable opening the blinds. It was noisy at times.
There was some confusion about having to pay a visitor tax directly to the host, but we were able to resolve this.
