Luxury Secure Chic-Hideaway in La Cala de Mijas with Sun-Drenched Terrace, SPA & GYM

The apartment was perfect, exactly like the pictures, the sunrise from our bedroom was the highlight. There is everything you need in the apartment and the terrace was perfect for sunbathing and having dinners. The community was beautiful, pool great and not overly busy and the social area was perfect for our last day waiting on our lift to the airport, although we couldn't get showers but there was a toilet in the reception area where they hold luggage so could get washed. Monica and Sean were great for information and showing us around and just a message away if we needed them.

Not a fault but be mindful it is further up the hill, we knew that when booking, I didn't mind the walk up or down but the kids weren't too keen as it was hot and they are teenagers so complain about walking the length of themselves 😂

Really lovely apartment our stay was wonderful, beds are really comfy pool clean and lots of sun loungers we love la cala and may rent this property again in the future.

The owner wanted to meet us upon arrival for €40 which I personally have never had to do, it was late and could have really just have got the keys through reception. I believe this was because booking.com had been less than useful when we originally booked we asked for 6 people but they put down there was only 2 staying which caused confusion over the price and I think left the host a little worried. Unfortunately the spa facilities weren’t working for the duration of our 10 night stay, we informed the owner and reception, so hopefully now they are up and running. No corkscrew / bottle opener which isn’t a biggy at all just something to be aware of if you want a vino!
