Very enjoyable

Property is at the Rorschach hafen train station so very accessible to travel around. The property is very spacious and clean with all kitchen utensils available

Very hot in hot weather, difficult to cool even with windows open (then you get all the noise from outside) Noisy outside (voices from people sitting in restaurants 3 floors below outside) - they do provide earplugs, but they are not comfortable to wear Kitchen is very cramped Dishwasher is not working properly (doesn't even dissolve the tablet in a 2 hour cycle - suspect the thermometer or motor needs to be looked at) We really needed a can opener and one was not provided Probably a Swiss/German thing - but the towels were (too) tiny The extractor fan in the shower room is very noisy Pillows were too soft

great location and find

It wasnt the hosts fault, but switzerland uses a different 2 pin plug size to europe. This meant we could not charge our phones with the euro converters we brought with us However, speaking to another guest, we had a usb charger cable and we could use the white tv box to plug the usb into so we could charge our phones . we wer edirectly over a railway line and we were concerened over noise. However we found the train noise to be perfectly acceptable and the trains stopped running around 11pm i think, so they were no botherf

Conveniently located in a beautiful town. Recommended.

Typically Swiss - functional without frills. Think provision of coat hangers, but no wardrobe, or provision of iron, but no ironing board. Clean, though, and excellently located.

Noisy, hot and uncomfortable in summer

It has a beautiful view of the ferry and promenade right from the windows which was really fun just to watch while sipping coffee. The kitchen was nice and well stocked. The location is great for going right out and walking around the promenade and or the town.

The location is also the thing we disliked the most, sadly. If you arrive by car and have more than a bag or two it is not very convenient getting from the ferry parking to the property and the elevator is really small. If it’s summer time or warm outside it is very warm inside too, and there is no fan. If you open the windows to get a little breeze then the bugs come in because the building has lights on the facade which attract more insects than the usual. Also if the window is open it is very noisy outside because there’s the train line which goes right beside the property which is tolerable but what was very uncomfortable and upsetting is that there are multiple bars below that are open until 1am and the people below don’t have any regard for the fact people might be trying to sleep above. If you don’t like smoke, well that really becomes a problem too because the there’s a smoke lounge in addition to the bars and I think the exhaust from the smoke goes right up into your room. It wasn’t tolerable. Also, on the other side of the property is the Main Street going along the water which has lots of really fancy loud cars revving engines and sounded like a drag race. Maybe this is a summer thing and almost all could be avoided if the room is not too warm, there’s a fan, and the windows don’t get opened.

This appartment had nice furniture, nice rooms and kitchen, like home. The view across the lake was exciting and the upstairs penthouse with balcon was marvelous, specially when it is sunny weather. Plenty shops and terraces for dining and evening drinks.

A little minor point is the train in front, but whem the windows are closed, this not much of an issue.

Elegant apartment with lovely roof terrace and views to the lake.

Great rental and would have felt like a luxury rental with just a few more necessities like a nice shower gel and shampoo, instructions regarding the TV and information about the wifi code and things in the area to see and do. We would certainly return though!

Location is great and highly convenient for train connections. No car needed. Great view of the lake. Not too hot due to north facing windows. Great mattress and reliable wifi. Landlord always reachable and supportive and super nice

Only minor thing is that the smoke of the smokers from the train station or bar downstairs creeps up thru open windows. But not severely.

Great place

The apartment was nicely furnished, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, very clean. We had coffee capsules for the mornings. Very nice view to the lake from the apartment! All that you need was there. You go out of the Apartment and you are on the Promenade along the lake-very good location.

The entrance to the apartment is slightly shabby, but then you enter the apartment-and surprise! As described by the other people, it is a little bit noisy from the train station and the restaurants in front of it, but the owners have thought about it-they had left ear buds for us. Generally this was not a problem for our family.

Great place to rest your head whilst you travel around.

clean, spacious, and easy access to surrounding areas.

Not the owners fault, but the property is located on the railway platform. Literally on the platform. Its not a busy station, so the noise wasn’t an issue. But you do have people standing outside the property smoking which is annoying if you have the windows open.

It was a good trip , we camed from Germany for two days , the apartment we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and great , all the utilities you need in a apartment

Unfortunately wery expensive as a city , it is not a small town but a wery traficated location with work in progress , I wouldn't recommend the location for a relaxing weekend unless you are under 25 and searching for fun ,than the location is perfect

Wonderful lake view and amazing central accommodation

I absolutely loved the lake view outside the bedroom. Apartment nicely located in the middle of everything, was tidy and had everything! Kitchen tools, bowls, frying pan, etc. Parking places are available within 1 min walking distance from the apartment for a reasonable price. Apartment is located at the small railway station, which I liked very much. It was easily accessible - I could walk to all places in Rorschach and explore on foot. There is many nice restaurants, cafes, and shops in the area. Boat station is just in front of the house. It wasn't always quiet outside the window but its something that is expected when you stay in the centre of a vibrant city life especially in summer. Looking forward to stay here next time when I am in Rorschach.

Nice spacious apartment

We booked this apartment spontaneously as we had to suddenly change our travel plans. And we absolutely don’t regret about these changes and this decision! The apartments are perfect with great view on Bodensee! We had everything we need. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for comfortable cooking.

Excellent!!! Beautiful lake view from bedroom window, comfortable apartment equipped as described, easy to find. I had ´Deluxe´ apartment with a large bathtub. Apartment nicely decorated, very clean and smells fresh inside. Located perfectly - Rorschach promenade, train station and city centre within a short relaxing walk. Totally recommended! :)

Location : it's very close to the lake which is nice but the train station is literally at your doorstep so the apartment is quite noisy. And if you open the windows you get the cigarette smell of people smoking on the platform and on the terrace of the restaurants on the ground floor. Relaxing spot by the lake. Was a bit worried about the noise as the place is just at the train station but it was very quiet.
