Super hospitable and luxurious; the people are the best!

The personnel was super helpful and we had a small accident that was handled with great care and professionalism and everyone was super concerned and trying to do what they could to help.

The breakfast restaurant is very nice but when the sun shines in, it's hard to avoid getting blinded.

when you use the bathroom during the night, the light is also in the room as the sam switch lights up the bathroom, the sink area in the hallway, and the shower - so it wakes up others in the room not a problem, just a mild inconvenience - would recommend to add a separate switch just for the toilet

Very comfortable, friendly and professional

Helpful and friendly front desk staff welcomed us despite our late arrival. Breakfast across the road at their sister hotel / resort was excellent with lots of fresh fruit and good quality juices. Would have liked to have longer to use their facilities but we were only staying the night.

Was a little awkward having to check in at their other hotel up the road... but not a big deal.

Lovely hotel in a magical location.

Location was amazing. Food was incredible and breakfast was one of the best breakfast buffets we have had. Staff were very friendly. Room was a great size.

Spa closed too early for us to use. Our bed creaked very loudly every time we turned. Could have clearer instructions on how to check in as lodge is away from the main hotel.

Perfect Hotel for exploring Appenzel

Amazing staff, amazing breakfast and amazing location. Probably the best of the lot you can ever stay in Switzerland. It’s bang off the station which is great, it makes connections very easy. Has good easy hikes nearby and for more challenging places ones you can easily be connected by public transportation

Very good

Very nice hotel in a quiet village. The Lodge is separated from the actual hotel, with its own services. The room was very spacious, modern, and clean. Staff was friendly.

The breakfast was very expensive, but very poor. We were with 2 people and received in total: 2 small rolls of bread, 1 yoghurt, some cheese, 2 cookies, 2 apples and a package with 8 slices of salami. So, unless you take the actual breakfast in the hotel, don't take the breakfast bag for your room.

Went there for hiking nearby which was great and enjoyed a day out visiting Appenzell.

Close to Train and Bus stations. Very good location not far from Appenzell. Nice Restaurant with good Swiss style food offerings nearby. Large if somewhat bland rooms.

Breakfast average. Bread, cheeses etc. not topped up. Experienced better during a 6 week stay in Switzerland.

Check-in is up the street, but would definitely stay here again - great view, comfortable and clean

The location was great - we had a lovely view of the river and mountains. It was very clean, comfortable, and modern. The breakfast was very good.

We were a little confused about check-in, as you have to go to a different hotel up the street, but once we figured out where to go it was fine - the staff there were very friendly and helpful.

I'll stay there again and again if I come back to Weissbad!

Huge spacious room with modern interior design! Even though there is no reception desk, you can get anything you want at the lobby or at the looby of their parent-hotel, which is indeed 100 meters away. People were super nice to me!

It's mot a complaint, but when i arrived to the place, which was around 9 pm, the doors of the parent hotel were shut for like 20 minutes (automation did not work) and until staff showed up I was there alone at the street thinking if I have to sleep at the street tonight :D

Comfortable & great location, the staff made it all easy

Staff super helpful, I arrived early as hoped to check in and go hiking for the day (and leave my bag in the room) as the room was not ready yet (I was early so understandable) they had a big locker I could use to leave my stuff then go hiking for the day. The Lodge is close to the train station, comfortable and tasteful room

Great place, only thing the river ran passed the room and is loud but hey that’s nature & i’m a light sleeper so had ear plugs (was a warm night so had to keep the window open)

A very pleasant dog-friendly hotel

The Lodge is modern, clean, quiet (at least while we were there - the road is quite close) and well thought-through. The “breakfast in a bag” was perfectly adequate, although for a splurge the breakfast in the main hotel is splendid.

Very pleasant and completely satisfactory.

The Weissbad Lodge is a lovely concept. Reduced services and price but very satisfying and innovative. Very comfortable rooms with a "Wall of Generosity" with any supplies, coffee machine and so on. Breakfast delivered early morning in a paper bag. Located just 50 meters from the train stop. Easy spot from which to visit attracting in the area like the town of Appenzell or the Hoher Kasten cable car.There were some problems with the light settings on an earlier visit but these were resolved. We enjoyed both our visits

The coffee machine broke down at breakfast time which was inconvenient but an enterprising maid found an acceptable substitute fairly quickly.

Comfortable stay in beautiful Weissbad!

We had a quick stay at the Weissbad Lodge after a long hike and it was just what we needed. We also walked over to the Hof Weiss Hotel across the street to have a nice cocktail. The room was comfortable and enough room for two people and the breakfast bag we received in the morning was nice!
