The detached holiday home is situated at 1160 m, 5 km from Appenzell, in the middle of the Appenzell - Kronberg hiking area. The cosy house and the spacious grounds invite you to relax and the fireplace in the living room creates a homely atmosphere. The 4 1/2 room house offers space for 6 people and the minimum stay is 5 nights. There are no doors in 2 of the bedrooms (a curtain replaces the door) and there is no underfloor heating. Slippers are therefore recommended. Important: Snow access: In winter, the Solleggstrasse is periodically cleared of snow up to the turning and parking area above the holiday home. All-wheel drive or snow chains are necessary. The access road (60m) to the holiday home is not cleared Important!!! In stormy weather it is possible that the road is impassable again shortly after the snow has been cleared and the 1.7 km to the house must be covered on foot.
