About this house rental
At the peaceful De Friese Wadden vacation park in Tzummarum (near the Wadden Sea), you can enjoy our three comfortable vacation cottages.
Cottages #47 and #73 are located next to each other. Chalet #115 is also nearby. This makes the cottages ideal for a fun vacation with friends or family (up to 12 people).
You can use the park’s facilities:
•Swimming pool with a children’s pool
•Large playground (newly built in 2018)
•Reception desk, which also provides tourist information
•Snack bar

COTTAGE NO. 73
Our comfortable vacation cottages, No. 47 and No. 73, are located next to each other. They are 5-person cottages.
The cottages, each approximately 48 m², are furnished almost identically. Cottage No. 73 features:
•A cozy, bright living room with a comfortable lounge sofa, a cozy dining area, and French doors leading to the garden.
•Large (80 cm) flat-screen TV with many cable channels.
•Free Wi-Fi (via Ziggo).
•Well-equipped kitchen with a spacious refrigerator with freezer compartment, gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, and plenty of storage space.
•Bathroom with sink, shower stall, and toilet
•Bedroom with two box-spring beds, storage space, and reading lamps.
•Bedroom with a bunk bed consisting of a double bed (140 x 200) and a large single bed (90 x 200), plus storage space.
•The bedrooms are equipped with single-size duvets, pillows, and mosquito screens.
•A sheltered and fully fenced-in garden with patio furniture, cushions, and a parasol.
•A small shed.
•A combi-boiler heats all rooms and provides hot water.
•You can load and unload right in front of the door. Parking is available in the park’s nearby parking lot.
•Inside the cottage, you’ll find practical and tourist information, including the Capitool Guide to Friesland. Inspiration for plenty of adventures!
BED LINEN, TOWELS, DISH TOWELS
* You can bring your own bed linen or rent it from the park for €10.00 per person per change.
* You must bring your own towels, kitchen towels, and dish towels.

Park De Friese Wadden is located in the quiet village of Tzummarum, just a stone’s throw from the Wadden Sea. It’s also close to the beautiful cities of Franeker and Harlingen. The capital, Leeuwarden (Europe’s Capital of Culture in 2018), is also easily accessible.
You can fully enjoy the stunning views of the characteristic Frisian landscape, go on long bike rides, explore the beautiful Frisian towns and villages, or cruise the Frisian waters by boat.
There is a tennis court right next to the park. Through the park, you can rent a bike and/or a boat, play tennis, or go horseback riding.

An den Betten sollte dringend was getan werden. Insbesondere das Elternbett. Sehr weiche Matratzen einfach auf durchgelegene Canapes zu legen geht gar nicht. Ich halte aber zu gute, dass die Vermieter das Objekt grade erst übernommen haben.(Buchung lief noch über den Alten. )
Ansonsten eine tolle Unterkunft.

Wir haben zu dritt mit Hund ein schönes Wochenende hier verbracht. Preis - Leistung waren völlig ok, für dieses Wochenende. Nette Kommunikation mit den Besitzern.
Jahreszeitlich bedingt war nicht viel los im Park. Unser Häuschen haben wir als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge genutzt. Im Ort gibt es nicht viel. Die Gaststätte an der Hauptstraße, gegenüber vom Park haben wir besucht und können sie empfehlen. Ebenso den Imbiss im Ort links die Straße runter. Es gibt noch einen Bäcker, der wohl auch Wurst, Eier etc. verkauft. Sonst ist in Tzummarum nichts los. Zum einkaufen sind wir nach Frakener.
Das Häuschen - in der Beschreibung steht - neu eingerichtet - dort steht nur nicht wann :-). Aber das war nicht schlimm. Es ist nett und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Aber auch recht klein. Für uns grad ausreichend. Geschirr, Besteck, Toaster, Senseo und Kaffeemaschine sind vorhanden. Alles andere muss mitgebracht werden. Der kleine Garten ist lediglich ein Steingarten, ohne Rasen. Zwar praktisch aber im Sommer würde es mich stören. An deutschen Fernsehprogrammen haben wir ARD/ZDF/WDR und NDR gefunden. Es gibt noch eine große DVD Sammlung, die wir nicht genutzt haben.
Tzummarum ist auf jedenfall ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um zB nach Harlingen, Franeker (unbedingt das älteste Planetarium besuchen) und Leeuwarden zu fahren. Leider hatten wir nur einen Abend in Leeuwarden - es ist sehr schön dort und wir wollen auf alle Fälle noch mal hin.
Alles in allem können wir die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Smelled like somone was smoking inside just before we got there. Blankets had obvious stains on them. Double bed was 2 nylon covered mattresses pushed together. Made for a very uncomfortable night.
