This was one of the nicest properties in which we've ever stayed. The bed, bath, shower, kitchen and comfortable furnishings were beyond expectations.
The beach was beautiful and pristine. I particularly liked that it was next to a state park, giving a break to the high rise on the beach scene. Part of the unique beauty of the area is being able to see the bay on one side, the beach on the other.
Be sure to carve out time to go to Johnson's Beach, a state park. In retrospect we would have spent more time walking there and on the beach. A jaunt into Pensacola's Palafox district for quaint architectural charm, coffee houses and cafes are a nice half day diversion.
We found dining options on the island/peninsula (PDK) super limiting. The sushi at The Jellyfish was good and the wait staff were super friendly. We also enjoyed take out from Lillians.
