About this house rental
The beach is less than 0.2 miles from this charming 2+ bedroom, 1 bathroom, pet-friendly cottage in Dennis Port! This beautifully renovated cottage will absolutely wow you. The open kitchen/dining/living area is vacation-comfortable with a modern edge. The kitchen features a large granite peninsula with four bar stools. It includes a fully stocked kitchen with dishes, glasses, etc. organized in plain view, dishwasher, microwave, and ice maker. To the left of the kitchen is a dining table and chairs that can accommodate six guests. It is a luminous space adjacent to French doors to the deck, perfect for starting or ending any day. There is even a daybed tucked into a roomy nook with French doors for privacy. The living room has a full sleeper sofa and love seat facing a flat screen tv with DVD player and a gas fireplace for use September through June. The fireplace insert is cool to the touch, so it’s safe for children and dogs. The bath boasts lovely wainscoting and a tub/shower combination. There is a primary bedroom with a king size bed and a second bedroom with a set of twin beds. This single story cottage has an abundance of recent improvements inside and out. At the top of the list would be the 20’ x 22’ deck with gas grill and an awning to lounge or dine in sun or shade. The outdoor dining table seats eight and there are large, comfortable couches, chairs, and ottomans on the deck for guests to enjoy. The deck overlooks a patio with fire pit and Adirondack chairs, fenced in yard, and a tidal river that winds to the sound. On the other side is Seaview Park, a great spot for kids! Perhaps best of all, this sweet retreat with central air is under 2/10ths of a mile to Belmont Road Beach and Cliff Metcalf Memorial Beach off Chase Avenue on the Nantucket Sound. Also included: Wi-Fi, enclosed outdoor shower, two room fans, washer and dryer, and space for 3 cars in driveway. Sorry, no smoking is allowed. (This pet-friendly home allows dogs with pre-approval from owner at an additional fee.) Unit available for 2 night minimums in off-season with an added cleaning fee. An administrative fee and applicable taxes may apply. Linens not provided. Guests may rent linens or bring their own.

Open area, well stocked cottage .2 miles walk to beach. Hosts provided most things (except sheets & towels, understandable), as well as washer & dryer. The deck & fire pit areas were well used. So glad I got my family & friends together for some 4th of July fun.

My family and I stayed here the week after Labor Day. Although the weather wasn’t good but we had a great time staying in at the cottage.We would take walks to beach which was a 5min walk and also the trail behind the house via both main rds. (Sea Street Park)The home is very clean and roomy. All the pots, pans, utensils, dinnerware, furniture were in immaculate condition.We spent most of our time on the deck Looking out at the pond and pretty scenery. The deck included an outdoor sectional which was a big plus and a big enough table where we played cards and ate most of our meals at. We did smores by the firepit a few nights as well. Great firepit area with sand around for kids to play in there as well.Area was very quiet and peaceful.Definitely recommend. We already reserved for next year, can’t wait to go back!!
