About this cabin rental
Riverside Nest is a true couple's Retreat. A secluded mountain cabin perched above the Ellijay River with 101 steps down from the cabin to the beach area, hammock deck. Topside on the cabin's huge deck is a covered gazebo with a gas firepit and a hot tub with a cover lift. There is a fenced area for your pup with access to both the front deck and hot tub deck. The cabin offers a large cathedral ceiling king bedroom with a 32 inch TV. The living area has vaulted ceilings and is perfect for cuddling in front of the gas log fireplace or watching your favorite movie on the 55 inch smart TV with YouTube TV's 85 channel service (Includes sports and local) & Netflix & DVD player. There is also a bluetooth speaker for listening to your favorite songs. The Kitchen offers: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and espresso machine, with a wall of windows overlooking the Ellijay River and beautiful wooded views while dining. Riverside Nest is a perfect place to getaway with the one you love.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock CabinsĀ® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. No refunds, rebates, or compensation will be offered. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST PURCHASING VACATION RENTAL INSURANCE with your travel insurance of choice. We had a great time, the cabin was better than expected. The layout was great, the home was clean and spacious for two adults and our dogs. We really appreciated that a bed and extras were included for our boys. The hot tub was great and the creek and raised deck was perfect for our Golden Retriever to play in the water and keep him from splashing everyone. The cabin was secluded but still close enough to town to easily grab food and the things we needed during our stay. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet relaxing location.We are already planning another stay.

The cabin is perfectly positioned off the road and nestled in the trees like a nest, just like the name suggests, the sound of the river is wonderful. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us.

The cabin itself is beautiful, well-furnished, lots of little details thought out like games, movies,and books. The amenities are nice and the kitchen is well-stocked. I wish we had been warned in advance just how dangerously steep and narrow the mountain road to the cabin is as we would have driven a different vehicle. We are coming from Florida and not used to these roads, and there was a very steep drop-off. The cabin is basically built into the side of a mountain. The stairs to the riverfront are also terrifying. We didn't feel comfortable leaving the cabin to go do anything once we got there and risk damage to our small SUV. It is a very picturesque and beautiful area and I love the picture windows and the gas fireplace. Our dogs enjoyed exploring the area but the fenced in yard is not really great. The fence posts are too wide in some areas so we couldn't even safely let them off leash without risking them running off and falling into a ravine. I also did not like being asked to do so many housekeeping items (stripping the bed, washing and putting away all the dishes, starting the laundry, etc.) when I am paying over $200 a night to stay somewhere. The checkout instructions really added to the stress of us packing and leaving. It is a beautiful area and a beautiful cabin. We should have chosen one with a better yard for letting our three dogs out off leash, but I don't think we will be going back.
