FLH Downtown Modern Apartment

1. This facility is ideally situated right in the tourist center. Though the apartment is located on the top 5th floor, there is a modern elevator with a stainless steel interior that is very clean and smooth on a ride. 2. This one-bedroom apartment is very neat and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable private stay. It includes the appliances, such as an induction cook-top, a convection oven, a large toaster, a full-size refrigerator with a separate freezer, a modern microwave, and a programmable washing machine. 3. The kitchen equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils, all are clean, well maintained and organized. 4. Each room has own air conditioning with digital control panel. 5. The TV is equipped with a set-top box with nearly 300 channels in various languages. 6. The windows are equipped with modern, soundproof double-glazed windows. Wooden shutters also provide excellent protection from the sun's heat. 7. Free WIFI provides a good connection.

1. Since this is a mansard roof apartment, some areas with low sloping ceilings may not be suitable for tall people. (Though it was not problem for me) 2. The entry door sag too low and rubs against the floor, making it a bit hard to close or open. (Management promised to fix this problem later. I hope they've done so by now.) 3. Warning for those arriving in Lisbon early in the morning, please note: the standard check-in time at this property is 3:00 PM (15:00), and the management will not change it to an earlier check-in time. So, in my case, I had to spend six hours outside before I was allowed to check in. There is no luggage storage available either. Consider to find automated locker/storage to drop your bag, while waiting for the check-in time (about $6 EU per safe box). As an option, you can hop on the excursion city sight or yellow bus to kill couple hours getting familiar with city ($30 EU). 4. Also, the management company doesn't accept voice calls, only text messages via WhatsApp, which can be quite stressful if you need urgent assistance. You can only hope your message gets through and they provide assistance shortly.

Access to property was a little tough and unsure of the door locked properly each time we left the apartment.
